I wish I have chance to visit the hotel but I didn't due to booking mistake. The Hotels.com and hotel staff are helping me for the cancellation refund and I hope to have further progress since there is not much new so far.

The room was musty and made my clothes smell , duty manager unhelpful.

Me and my wife really enjoyed our stay at Double Tree, the room was spotless, facilities were fantastic and the food was amazing. Staff were so helpful and friendly, we can't wait for round two. Well recommended

Book a spa hotel then have to pay extra to use the spa . Half empty restaurant but the won’t seat anyone but I able to just order food at the bar . The double bed turned out to be 2 singles pushed together - when you’re tall that you sleep diagonally on a bed this is an issue ….

Absolutely beautiful hotel, treated to a night away for our birthdays and we were blown away by how amazing this place was. Really enjoyed our stay. We both had the best nights sleep. Thankyou for a great stay.

Staff, location, proximity to Chester city centre and excellent restaurant.

Arrival and check in nice and smooth. Offered a check in cookie, also a gluten free one. Perfect! Room lovely! Nice and clean and spacious. Beautiful! Great nights stay again. Breakfast spot on. Lots of choice, again gluten free options catered for.

Nice clean room and great breakfast and dinner. Be careful about the way Expedia advertise this hotel. We booked as it had a swimming pool but missed the very very small section 9 scrolls down in the hotel information that there was an additional charge to use the pool, leaving us with an additional bill for £40 for 2 of us for 2 hours. Probably wouldn't have booked here if I'd have seen this. The hotel is nice enough but if you are looking for a hotel with a swimming pool be careful to read the very small print!

Staff were lovely, friendly, helpful and courteous . Room was excellently looked after by team.

Nice and easy check in. Junior Suite was a lovely room. Spa was very nice although the additional £20 per person per day even though we had 2 treatments booked in. This wasn’t really made clear until we arrived.
