I recommend that guests double-check and confirm with the front desk whether their deposit will be refunded automatically or if they need to swipe their card in person. I was very frustrated when the front desk employee told me during check-out that I didn’t need to swipe my card to get the deposit refund. However, after driving an hour away, the front desk called me back to inform me that I had to return to swipe the card in person......Lost my time and gas.

Room clean, quiet. Free parking. Breakfast was basic with coffee, bread items.

Friendly staff, was kinda cautoff guard when checking in and clerk asked for proof or documentation for service dag never got asked before

The price I wash shocked to see that how much it says on the booking site and how much I needed up paying for a tiny room. For couple of hours early check in they charged me for the half of the total amount. Which is ridiculous. Many other hotels they do honor your early check in. Never coming back again.

Very friendly staff. Not the cleanest nor the most kid friendly but comfortable beds and the linnens felt clean.

Overall , great hotel. Nicely renovated for an older style building in the downtown core of Orillia. The only thing that was a disappointment was the deposit surprise you receive at check out. 450.00 is a bit outrageous.

Found garbage beside the bed an the toilet paper was all soaked an pretty well gone when I got in there an paint on wall is peeling hotel keys kept messing up had trouble with over flow parking

If you are a senior or have any issues with walking do NOT stay here. The stairs are crazy and I found it difficult to find my room. Parking is dismal. There is none. I found myself driving around and around Orillia trying to find a parking spot. Walking around alone after midnight is not safe! I would never stay here again.

Although the rooms are clean and quiet, they are small and dated. Water damage was noted on the wall and lamp shade. The ceiling light fixture was missing its fixture and was just bare bulbs. Location was excellent. Parking is limited and in the back next to a bar.
