The heat was unbearable. Windows didnt open. Superior room was poor. Carpets and rugs filthy, no extras , tap water in a bottle , whuch had beem lying all day before we got there. . . We asked for a different room. Told it was fully booked the car park said otherwise. This hotel hss certainly gone downhill since we started using it years ago. Drinks are extortionate also you have to pay cssh for happy hour bit odd. The car park is mow privately owned snd a hassle to pay and expensive on top of the stay. What was once a terrific hotel is sadly mo more. Wont be back.

The hotel is in a very central location, which was convenient for getting around. However, the room was quite small and had very limited storage, making it difficult to keep belongings organised. Unfortunately, the bathroom was disappointing. There was visible mould and dark buildup around the shower seals and corners, and the overall condition of the bathroom suggested that it needed a more thorough deep clean and some maintenance. The location is a positive, but the small room, lack of storage, and mouldy bathroom made the stay less comfortable than expected.

Lovely hotel within short walk from the centre. Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable rooms and excellent breakfasts. Highly recommended.

This hotel although looks small from the outside is a bit like the tardis inside. Its large and pleasantly decorated. It is close to the town centre and walking there is a breeze. Our room was fine with teas and coffees available within. Would happily stay there again.

We had a nice stay at the property. Fabulous location. Only complaint would be the bath products are overly scented and smell like a campfire.

Great location but a bit run down hotel. Excellent breakfast! The room was small and the kingsizw bed was really two twin beds pushed together. Easy parking!

We had a first floor room in the annex the other side of the carpark, the weather was good but I wonder how annoying that would be during the rain. A desktop fan was provided which was needed due to the hot weather. The breakfast was good. The bar closed before 11pm on at least one night so I was having to walk to the off licence for a beer. Happy hour had 2 cocktails for the price of one.

The location of this hotel is good and Canterbury centre is walkable, the staff are generally helpful and friendly. We had an issue with Bed Bugs in one of the rooms which meant a midnight change of rooms. No one was available the next day to discuss the situation and it took an excessive amount of time for them to provide a satisfactory response to the issue.

Loved this hotel - wish we could have stayed longer!! Lovely rooms, fun pub area, delicious breakfast and super friendly staff.

Lovely hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was small but ok , lovely big bed. Couple of things needed repair, suitcase stand broken, bathroom fan not working, toilet seat needed repairing. Happy hour on evening great. Breakfast very good both continental and cooked.

This Falstaff hotel was a fantastic choice for us to be able to get the most out of our overnight stay so we could enjoy Canterbury. It was a great location after a long journey to get there the hotel was on the doorstep of the train station. Also allowed us to leave our luggage while we did our exploring of Canterbury. Thanks to all the staff. Fantastic breakfast too.
