We loved that we didnt have to check in we just got a code to enter the room. Room was clean. My only complaint was the shower as it came straight down from roof instead of wall and I didnt want to wash my hair but nothing really to complain about

After doing the online check in earlier in the day I was told that I would get an online code and instructions to get into my room. I didn’t receive a code at check-in time so I called minutes after 4 pm to enquire. I was told that I would receive a code in 5-10 minutes as they were working on my room. I told them I would wait outside in the parking lot. I waited for over an hour and watched other guests getting in their room. I called back twice and got no answer. I tried to get into the office but it was locked and there was no one there. Finally I saw a man that looked like he was helping a guest. I asked about my room and he said he just needs to put towels in my room and then it will be ready and also said that he saw me parked there but didn’t know I was waiting for a room. He was approachable and helpful. Almost 2 hours after check in time I finally made it to the room. The room is clean enough but it’s old and smells moldy. The AC was blasting in the room and that didn’t help. There are surfaces like behind the tv that’s extremely dusty. My allergies were badly triggered by the moldy smell. I had to stay outside of the room and only come inside when it was time to sleep. I left with a headache and sinus drainage. The building looks good on the outside but inside needs help.

We had 2 rooms to accommodate our family of 6. The rooms were okay. The bathrooms a very tight and clean.

Good place to stay for a couple of nights. Convenient (central) location.

This property needs to be spruced up. The room was clean but tired. The outdoor area was unusable.

La literie était propre. Bonne pression d'eau et eau chaude. Localisation ordinaire. Chambre sentait le moisi. Les lattes du plancher sont soulevées par le dégât d'eau ayant possiblement eu lieu. Les fenêtres sont sales. Le balcon/cour arrière est très sale, donc bon utilisables.

Air conditioner was so loud I had to turn it off! Also dog hair on my sheets. It’s an older building with some updates in the bathroom. Other guests were very loud until just after midnight so not a good sleep.

Basic old motel with relatively recent, cheap, facelift. Clean rooms and quiet. Good shower. Lack of staff onsite was a concern, but no problems encountered. Parking situation was bizarre, access to lot was mostly blocked by a vehicle parked in a marked slot, so had to go over the curb to get in.

Staff were excellent, very polite and helpful. Great location for ferry, 20.mins to Nanaimo to Tsawwassen. Easy check in and out, no keys needed. Right on the main road but our room was at the back so not too noisy. Tiny parking lot. Not the nicest area but ok for a quick overnight on the way to the ferry.

The room was clean, the washroom was modern with a great rainfall shower. However the patio outside the sliding doors had a wooden shipping pallet to step out on. There were slants on the pallet, you had to be careful your foot didn't get between them. There was a table and chairs to enjoy but the area was so cluttered with leaves you couldn't go out and use it. The bed was also creaky, every time you moved it would creak.

This place is a hotel catfish. There was no lock from the inside of the door, just the key pad on the outside. The sliding door was installed so it could be locked from the outside. The room itself was scuffed up. I would not recommend this place at all.

Surprising hidden gem. Super comfortable beds and unexpectedly quiet.

Easy and quick response with guest services. The room was nice and clean. The air conditioning was on when I arrived which was very welcomed on a warm evening. It was a cozy room and beautiful bathroom. I would have liked to have a mattress topper for added plushness to the bed, but I still slept well. Strong WIFI. Easy check in and check out.

Never experienced any hotel without any receptions on site plus required pre check in even with the reservation? A lot of personal and credit card information were required for online check in which is a high safety concern. After filled out all those info waited out side for 30minutes without any response plus the assistance phone number didn’t pick up until we tried 5 times. Loud AC and bad experience.

The check in process was a complete nightmare. The code never arrived and we did not get into our room til 10:30 pm.

It's what you'd expect from a motel that has been converted to a "boutique hotel". Relatively clean and modern. Nice bathroom, good location, friendly staff, and a good price. But... check in is a pain and didn't work for us. There aren't enough power outlets for the electrics in the room, let alone to charge a phone or anything else. Lamp USB didn't work. Lamp wasn't plugged in and we had to get the manager come and move a wall panel just to access an outlet for it. Coffee was the cheapest you can buy and horrible. Bathroom had no counter space or shelves for toiletries. You can hear every little noise in the hallway, and it is a very noisey hallway. The AC works, but it lacks any instructions. There is a counter with stools under the TV, but plan to go to a coffee shop if you need a desk or table. For the price, I'd come back, I would just plan differently.

Place is good. Only issue was the room wasn’t ready even after we got there after 6 pm.
