A great find and close to the centre of town - our return trip as loved it so much before - the room was very clean and maids kept it in order stocking up tea tray etc - breakfast was good with a large choice - bar was ok but we preferred to be out on an evening - the pool sauna and jacuzzi an added bonus - all staff really helpful

Lovely hotel not far from the centre of Chester. Clean rooms and the staff welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We would stay there again.

Room was big, nicely furnished, and comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was a particular highlight. We didn't get the opportunity to try the spa facilities, so we shall have to return!

Nice hotel everything needed for a comfortable stay, room was fine, slightly outdated but spacious & very clean which is the main thing. Bar area is good, happy and efficient staff. Car park facing the hotel albeit £12 to self park but for a City centre hotel that’s the way it is nowadays. Easy walk 5-10 walk into heart of Chester, however lots of restaurants, cafes & pubs within 2mins from hotel on Brook street.

The hotel rooms are quite tired. Communal areas are better. It is an old building and that restricts the layout but the bathroom had a broken basin, light that didn’t work, toilet flush button was broken, hairdryer and kettle both very hot with use. The room was also very warm with no aircon. Great location and the breakfast was good but not a luxury stay.

The location is excellent. It's easy to walk to all of the sites and plenty of restaurants, pubs, and grocery stores. The staff was very helpful and professional and friendly. The one issue that I had was the WiFi in my room was somewhat erratic. It was fine in the rest of the hotel. I would recommend The Mill Hotel for all travelers.

Great location for exploring old town Chester with available parking.

Looks a little tied in some rooms. But clean and good facilities and great location. Staff helpful, food good for price but nothing special.

The location of the hotel was excellent for the train station and town centre The room probably needs updating the bathroom especially had a noisy extractor fan and the bath was flimsy. Lovely spa and breakfast was nice to

Beautiful spot on the canal just outside the city walls. Easy walk from the train station. Excellent breakfast buffet

Lovely clean room,comfortable bed,and hot drinks facility. Bar had good selection of drinks and staff very helpful. Breakfast bar good variety and quality of food. Restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. At time of our visit weather hot and outside seating limited,but we were lucky, Overall an excellent visit and convenient to the city - a 10 to15 minute walk to the clock gate.

Great spa and breakfast!!

A lot of money for the standards. Broken glass near the outside seating areas clearly left from the night before. The hotel is dated and could do with being modernised. The full English breakfast was awful - undercooked, fatty and tasteless bacon, poor quality sausages, cold toast, no mushrooms was just unappealing.

Room was standard, no air con but did provide a fan. Shower was a little low for tall people. Car Park was great & were able to use gym to change for races even though room wasn’t ready to go in

This is not a full English breakfast no mushrooms no hash browns And tea pots need need a clean

Great position. Short walk to train / bus station. Short walk into center. Good Health Club with lane swimming. Good breakfast.

Everything was good

Really nice hotel and spa this was my second visit. Close to the shops and pubs. Staff are really friendly. Breakfast was really nice. Will defo go back
