The hotel was well presented, with great facilities, great location and generally professional staff. The spa and pool area are excellent. The food and service in the bar was extremely good. Breakfast was well presented, a good selection and attentive staff.

We had a wonderful stay, 8 nights. Great food, relaxed atmosphere, lovely staff, great choices at breakfast. Very clean room, comfy bed & nice big shower. The spa is fantastic too. We will be back!

Huge disappointment on the quality of amenities: bad wifi, broken phone & outlets among other things, old smell. Terrible service when we arrived. Our room was not ready at 5pm & the staff was not even apologetic after saying the wait would be at the very minimum 30 minutes if not more! I asked to be offered drinks while we waited since it didn’t even occur to them to offer anything. The woman at the front desk reluctantly wrote something on a piece of paper to give to the staff at the bar. She then said she would let me know when the room would be ready. We sat at the bar and waited but no one came to our table so after 20 minutes I walked to the waiter and showed the piece of paper. It was close to 5:30pm and I was told that the only thing this piece of paper gave me was one free coffee or tea. I asked for two glasses of prosecco and said they could deduct the cost of coffee and I would pay the difference. After seeing the look on their face I gave up and decided to pay for the whole thing but I was told I couldn’t charge the room and had to pay right away. After waiting for more than 45 minutes I still had not heard back from the front desk about the room so I went back and sure enough, they had forgotten to let us know the room was ready. When I mentioned that coffee was not what I had in mind after a long drive in the heat and that a real welcome drink would have been the right thing to do, the woman rudely replied I should just be happy she had agreed to anything!

Fabulous stay. Beautiful gardens and surroundings, comfortable bed and delightful staff.

Our stay here was very nice, the hotel and grounds were beautiful. The restaurant very good and the breakfast buffet was great. There was filtered water available in different places in the hotel due to the water from the taps smelling like 'dirt', obviously a lot of minerals in the water. It did make for an unpleasant smell for while kn the room after showering, otherwise we had a very pleasant stay.

Struttura inserita in un meraviglioso parco, ma non adatta a persone allergiche a polvere: è piena di moquette, parati, tendaggi e tappeti, tipica degli anni …anta! Camera e bagno molto ampi e spazi comodi.

The Falls Hotel and Spa in Ennistimon, Ireland was the most lovely and comfortable hotel we have ever visited. The view from the front of the hotel of town was like artwork. The walk into town was just a few minutes along the river. The landscaping of the hotel property, waterfall, donkeys, birds, cats and the gardens were perfection. The hotel bar and restuarant were top notch. The staff were the most kind and supportive. We loved everything about our stay!

Old but good for people with kids

Uns hat es im Falls Hotel & Spa sehr gut gefallen. Das Zimmer war groß, sauber und sehr leise. Das Frühstück war lecker und umfangreich. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr nett und jederzeit hilfsbereit! Eine klare Empfehlung.

I liked the setting. The grounds were beautiful. Our room was on the 6th floor. It was always too hot. No air conditioning, and we were only able to open the window a tiny crack. They had no bellhop to help with bags up the stairs at the front door. Upon checking out of the hotel we had to argue with the receptionist to get help with our luggage. We were not told about a way to address the bad tasting water coming out of our tap until I took a container down to the bar to get water there. It turns out they have water refill stations on each floor. The food served to us at breakfast was only average quality. This is not the 5 star hotel that they lead you to believe it is. It is not worth the prices you pay to stay here. They are doing well serving tour groups on large busses for an overnight stay. I was greatly disappointed in all respects.
