In general, it is good enough for travellers. City view with nearby restaurants. Saw a few young staff while checking in. Look like a family-run business. The room is large with a comfortable bed. Breakfast is a set rather than a buffet.

I have reserved a room with private bathroom...It is supposed that it is an ensuite bathroom. Finally, it found that the toilet is in the room, but the bathroom is opened for public. It is a little shock. Luckily, the nice staff was willing to upgrade our room to REAL ensuite bathroom...

Wasn’t really sure what to expect due to the renovation work currently in progress but actually it didn’t make any difference. The view from our room would have been the same, the back of an old BT building. The room wasn’t a hotel suite but more a mini apartment in a block at the back of the hotel, it looked like the photos but once you were in the room the finishing off wasn’t great. Carpet trims loose, safe on the floor so you had to be on your hands & knees to use it. Shower tray was shallow so looked nice but drained really slowly. On arrival the room was cold and didn’t really warm up until the 2nd day. Nice to have a sink & fridge but the sink has no drainer so awkward to wash up. No table mats or coasters and the tables are wooden, there were already ring marks on the tables. My eyes have been itchy all weekend, guessing it’s most likely there had been a dog in the room as now we have left my eyes are fine. We never went into the hotel except for checking in. Unlikely we would book again.

The room was comfortable. The staff were courteous and welcoming. It was disappointing that there wasn’t a cooked breakfast on offer but understandable as the refurbishment is ongoing.

Advertised as 4 Star don’t believe it no wardrobe just 4 hangers attached to a pipe. When booked no mention of the bar and restaurant being closed. Breakfast in a bag the bananas were black think they had become very cold other stuff only just acceptable.Definitely will not stay again. Only redeeming factor was the staff who were pleasant.

Staff were very welcoming! The hotel was very clean, nice decor. A good selection of complimentary snacks were in the room. There was renovations going on but this did not have a negative impact on the stay. I would definitely stay here again.

The amount of buildings work and its impact on services was not clear . The hotel is fairly well appointed and help was fine but we would not have booked this site had we fully understood the disruption

Parking not enough due to hotel renovations taking place currently. Be ready to pay £10.00 to park across the road for the night.

The breakfast area and bar were closed, huge renovation going on. They did send a message to say about the renovations but I wasn't aware it was so extensive and there would be no breakfast or bar area as this wasn't in the email.
