In general, it is good enough for travellers. City view with nearby restaurants. Saw a few young staff while checking in. Look like a family-run business. The room is large with a comfortable bed. Breakfast is a set rather than a buffet.

I have reserved a room with private bathroom...It is supposed that it is an ensuite bathroom. Finally, it found that the toilet is in the room, but the bathroom is opened for public. It is a little shock. Luckily, the nice staff was willing to upgrade our room to REAL ensuite bathroom...

The location was great and the beds were comfortable. Close to restaurants and grocery, able to walk. Everything was clean and maintained. They even had a travel cot set up for my little guy. Only complaints were the parking and the fact that our building was in a separate building at the back of the property and only accessible by stairs. It was inconvenient because you had to haul your bags from the front as it was closed off to driving. The parking lot had minimal stalls and you had to park a half block away and pay.

The fact that you cant park there is annoying. It was clean and the staff was good.

Rated 4 star but at best a 3 star. Shown as the original Garrison only to realize it was a low grade building.

It is exactly what you look for in a budget hotel option but I do wish it was a little bit less expensive given the offering. It isn't overly nice or updated but it is generally clean and in a great location for walking to things downtown.

Room was small (only about 18” on each side of the bed) which made luggage and clothes difficult to manage. Bathroom was nice with heated floors. Room was dark, which didn't make it feel clean. Breakfast was good. Overall it was really expensive (~250 pounds) for one night, which seemed very overpriced for what we received. Not sure I would stay here again.

Front desk staff is rude and you do their entire job on an iPad. Construction is extremely intrusive.

Nice, clean hotel with good food and bar

L'appartamento da 4 persone era un gioiellino. Vista stupenda, arredamento bello ed accogliente. Due stanze separate, ampie e ben tenute. Cucina ben servita. Salotto con tavolo da pranzo spazioso. Bagno piccolo ma ben organizzato con vasca. Assolutamente consigliato. Ci torneremmo volentieri.

The overall experience was

Room a little small but enough for a few nights stay, really comfy bed, breakfast options were amazing and very comfy breakfast area, staff were really helpful and it’s in a great location

The room was as expected, clean. Good restaurant option for continental or hot breakfast. We were quite disappointed that there was construction happening immediately outside our window on the adjacent property - maybe 10 ft from our window. There was load banging and power tool noises from 7am - 7pm. While I understand that is not necessarily within the hotel's control, the staff did not even mention it to us upon check in, and there was no one manning the check out area when we went to check out (it was self-check out on a screen). As a courtesy, that certainly should've been mentioned to us and the room discounted, or the staff should've reached out ahead of time as we would've moved locations.

Parking on site was available off season, room and hotel clean and staff were very welcoming. Great location for walking High street

Lovely clean modern hotel, great breakfast, quiet and good location.

We booked a room (apartment ) for one night on our way through town headed to Isle of Skye- we checked in staff was very friendly and polite but let us know our place was offsite at a different building up the road. The room looked nothing like what we saw advertised as their modern fresh looking rooms we saw on line. Place was extremely dated and worn out/ windows had been left open to bring fresh air in and the musty smell out …temporarily. Sadly we did not spend the night there- took us until 9pm to find a place that could accommodate our small family- we asked for a refund in the am with proof (receipt ) we stayed elsewhere but was informed the receptionist had no authority to do so- wish better luck on the next guest.
