Couldn’t check in until hour after 3pm. They double charged us on 2 credit cards after they said they had removed the first one. So we have been charged $271 on both!

First, this is not a hotel, this a motel. That being said, it is clean. The room we were in needs to be repainted as the paint was peeling in some spots. Overall clean and good, Air conditioner was loud.

It was great. It’s was a blast from the past as when we were younger we stayed at the old Pass Motor Inn. Wish the pool was still there lol. But understand why they filled it in.

The staff were very friendly, the rooms are renovated and very clean. Conveniently located beside the mall and not a long drive to the beach.

Central location and friendly staff. Air conditioning was cold but noisy so we had to turn it off to sleep. Parking right in front of your room was helpful. Would recommend requesting a room on the top floor if you are a light sleeper. The first night the people above us were quite loud but the other nights were completely fine.

Front desk staff were very nice and helpful when I checked in. My room was clean and what one would expect from a renovated motel. Would stay again.

The room was spacious and cleaned well. The only downside was the strong perfumed smell from housekeeping. Beds were comfortable and we appreciated having a fridge/microwave in the room.

The room was clean. The staff were nice. My only problem was, the room we were in with kitchen was too small for a family of 4, with 2 kids. Maybe best to get a room with 2 queen. Rather than a king bed with pull out couch. For sure it could work if you kids are under 10yo.

Small useful room for the night we stayed

Property was clean and tidy. New ly renovated hotel. The rooms look great when you walk in. Bathroom was very clean. Air conditioning worked great and beds were comfortable.

Basic but clean

The room was newly renovated and clean yet oddly I found three different black bugs in my room when I first arrived - which for the clean condition was surprising. The kitchenette was sufficient for my individual purposes. The dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils were fine though a sharp cutting knife and better quality cooking spatula would be appreciated. The fridge was a half size and clean. The tv sits strangely high on the wall so one has to crane one’s neck to see it, but they have ample channels if tv is a priority. The staff were exceptionally helpful and prompt in any requests I had during my stay. Honestly, the staff are what made all the difference compared with other hotels I’ve stayed at in Penticton. I’ve stay nearly 30 nights this summer (2026) in Penticton for work across four different properties and the staff here at Coast were by far the most accommodating and friendly. The location is central within Penticton but not so close to the lakes. There is a large parking lot but it filled up quickly by early evening. The two on site EV charges did not work. It is an excellent hotel if you’re traveling and not in need of a pool and other amenities and aren’t fussed about not being within easy walking distance of the lakes. I am returning in a week to the hotel for another four nights because of how great the staff were.
