Didn't feel like a 4 star hotel.
The staff seemed friendly and professional, but some didn't even speak English, which made it difficult to communicate. The room had small insects appearing every day. The elevators were very slow, sometimes we had to wait for a few minutes for them even though there were 3 elevators. The hallways were narrow, and showed some signs of poor maintenance. The dining areas were very cramped, crowded, noisy, and felt hectic. The outside of the hotel had construction scaffolding. The location of the hotel was good though as it was within walking distance of times square and nearby attractions. The bed was comfortable. The food we did have here was only average. I've stayed at 3 star hotels that were better than this one. It was my first time in new York though, maybe this is considered a 4 star here.
