I’ve never stayed at this property, but definitely will again. Our room had plenty of space, was nice and modern, and had all the amenities that we needed. The best part was the view from our window- Empire State Building!!!! We were also a quick walk to Times Square, but far enough away that it was much quieter and less busy.

Breakfast and reception areas are not big enough for the number of guests. Onsite “restaurant” is an afterthought. Waited 45 minutes for our check. Bartender was only person working. I don’t usually leave reviews - I’m a Hilton loyalist and this property is not worthy of Embassy Suites flag.

First of all, the staff are great. I didn’t catch names, but everyone was friendly and helpful. The bartender was personable and kind. Adam the concierge/valet was so helpful and genuinely cared. Second, the bed was so comfortable! The rooms are smaller than a normal Embassy Suites. But it sufficed. The only complaint I have is the happy hour and free breakfast. We ended up not using either. No place to sit. Selection lacking (no bagels??). It was way too tight of a setup. Otherwise the place is perfect convenient location, very clean, and wonderful staff.

Difinitely not a 4 star property. Did not expect this low quality stay from Hilton. Rooms are cramped, water pressure is very low in the shower. They do not have enough space for the breakfast. You will be lucky to get a table during breakfast without waiting. Same is the case for the lift and there is always a long wait. For our 10 days of stay they could not fix/ replace the toaster which was always malfunctioning. Hardly any option for vegetarians at the breakfast. Except for the location, There is nothing positive about this hotel.

Excellent location but average hotel at best for the price I have waited to post this but having not received a response to a complaint, I am now doing so. The room was small, I expected that but it was not clean, there were bits on the floor when we got there that we could feel when in socks. The tall mirror in the room was cracked. I noticed immediately but clearly no one in the hotel had, or they knew and ignored it. I reported it but nothing much could be done. The sofa bed when opened looked grimy underneath, clearly had not been checked in some time. The curtain was missing the stick needed to pull it across. I didn't report the bed or curtain as we felt 3 complaints on day one was too much hassle. However by day 3, our sink became blocked, it was 'fixed' while we were out but it got blocked again the next time we ran the water. We reported it again as we left. But the issue that caused me to complain after we left was related to guests being taken advantage of by staff. We were advised by an employee we could use the hotel 'airport transfer service'. We should have checked but there is no airport transfer service & the employee essentially called a friend who had a taxi and clearly they had an arrangement which benefited them both. I was suspicious when the taxi arrived but we needed to leave. I later contacted the hotel who replied they do not have an airport taxi service. Since then they've ignored me despite the serious complaint about their staff. Very disappointing!

There are two elements that lower our expectations. Three small elevators serving 39 floors are not acceptable, evident in the lines waiting to catch an empty elevator, going up and/or down. The other disappointment was the breakfast area in the 4th floor, where although the food options were good, there were Not Enough tables to accommodate the volume of guest having breakfast. The serving personnel was excellent, and made a great difference.

We loved this hotel! It is right in the heart of midtown so we could walk to anything we needed to see or use. Our room was an Empire view, and it was perfect! Very quiet, comfortable bed, excellent view, with even a closet in the room. Happy hour snacks and drinks, free breakfast (if there wasn’t enough seating we would just order omelets or grab what we wanted and take to our room or the tables downstairs and a daily credit to use at the restaurant. But the BEST thing about this hotel is the amazing staff. Every single person was so helpful and kind about it- they all work so hard to make your stay great. On our check-out day the doorman, DINU, even helped us get transportation to the airport in the middle of a festival blocking all the streets around us. DINU even helped us take our luggage over 3 blocks to meet the driver so we could get to the airport. Honestly this was the best hotel stay ever- 10/10!

The hotel was covered in scaffolding but a lit sign made it easy to spot. From the moment we arrived the staff were efficient, welcoming and friendly. Check in was simple and quick and we were soon unpacking in our room. The room was spotlessly clean and well maintained witch a view of the Empire State Building Herralds Square and the main entrance to Macy’s. Toiletries were available and the towels were soft and brilliant white. 3 blocks from the subway and 4 from a path station and Penn station it has great access to public transport. Bryant park and the public library only 3 blocks up it is in a great spot for film location spotting or just relaxing with coffee. The hotel had cold water available at all times to fill water bottles and the reception and public areas remained clean and well serviced throughout our stay despite the rain. On check out our luggage was stored securely and the staff booked a town car to take us to the airport. Our stay at The Embassy Suite was super. The fabric of the hotel was good the staff obviously care about where they work and the experience guests have, from the from of house to the room staff - we even met a house keeper twice on our stay who was spot checking rooms for cleaning and service. The lifts are not speedy but in a city With so much hustle the brief waits did not spoil our stay. When we finally left the hotel having collected our luggage we were seen off by a wonderful receptionist and bellhop who ended our stay perfectly.
