Arendon cottage was the the best accommodation I stayed for the past two weeks in both Melbourne and Tasmania. Only 20km away from the downtown of Launceston and 5km from the airport. It was a comfortable cottage with provision of good cooking facitities and breakfast pack.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. It was tastefully decorated with good utensils. Bed very comfortable. Owner very welcoming.

A unique town in northern Tasmania known for its penny farthing bike race. Worth getting off the highway for a visit. Will certainly go back.

Arendon Cottage had everything we needed, right on the main street. Perfect for the Pennyfathing races and the Sunday Market. Our hosts were wonderful. We could live there quite happily

It was an ideal location for our visit to Evandale, close to everything we wanted to do and very well presented. The cottage is nicely renovated, it was warm (a must in a Tassie autumn) and quiet. We didn’t have a lot to do with the owners but found the lady very friendly when we did. Definitely recommended.

I hired it for guests to my 80th Birthday Party and they loved it

Handy location to the airport. Great breakfast supplies. No dryer was inconvenient. I’d rather pay $10 a night extra when you are travelling to wash and dry your clothes.

We were late arriving and the proprietor arranged access to the premises. The rooms were warm and comfortable. The cottage had a homely feel. The kitchen was well-equipped with matching china. The provision for breakfast was good. The bathroom and shower excellent with plenty of towels if needed. The cottage is a short walk to the shops.

A very comfortable stay in a beautifully renovated cottage with modern amenities in a charming village full of equally wonderful restored buildings. The washing machine was a bonus. Simple breakfast supplies were plentiful.

After a long day we were delighted to open the back door of Arendon Cottage and see our digs for the night. It is so well appointed and comfortable, a perfect place to stay. The gardens are so pretty and it is in the heart of a lovely Tassie village.

Right in the village of Evandale. Lovely, comfortable accommodation which included everything that we needed.
