The garden setting and the u shape of the overall resort are lovely. The beach is very close literally metres away. Although the pool and spa are not heated it was still refreshing to have a dip due to the overall warm winter weather. The washing machine and dryer are in the apartment so very convenient.
The cons: Whilst the apartment is smoke free. There was smoke from other apartment that wafted in from the balcony so had to close the balcony door quite often. No oven however there is a microwave, toaster and electric cooktop. The ocean water was quite brown for quite a few metres out due most likely to river silt.

Pool is lovely. Room was big. Beach was fenced off. Streets lights very bright so pack an eye shade. I informed staff a would be arriving after 5pm, which is when the office closes mon thru Friday, noon Saturday and Sunday. Never recovered my entry code or internet details. So have no internet during my stay.
Process could be improved.

The property overall matched the picture's and what was promised.
But after the checkout I got charged the security deposit for a damage I have not committed, which the provider should have noticed after the inspection of the previous guest before my check-in. At check-in I wasn't informed to check for any damages. So this definitely feels sketchy since such a damage should definitely be noticed beforehand.

The location was amazing! It is up on the top floor with no elevator (so be sure you can do the stairs), but had a large balcony overlooking the ocean! We liked that it was in a less busy area and we could travel into downtown Cairns, beaches, Rainforests, Kuranda, etc. in our rental car easily! They had everything we needed to prepare foods, or wash clothes. Only issue was that there were tiny ants. They do ask you throw garbage away daily, but even that wasn’t quick enough. It helped that we stored everything in the fridge until we were leaving the room and could take our garbage down. The location and price made up for dealing with the ants. I would stay there again!

We had a great stay. The area is very quiet. There's a great cafe restaurant directly across the street and the patio of the cafe faces the sea. Every Saturday there's live music from 3-6pm. The bus runs runs right in front of the complex so it's easy to get to Smithfield mall in less than 15 minutes on the 120 bus or Cairns Central Shopping Center where you can find groceries at Coles or Woolworths. We really liked the apartment. The sofa and bed were very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay again.

The resort could use some upgrades in the living room furniture and air-conditioning. They also should ensure there’s enough toilet paper in the room before they arrive. We only had a partial roll of toilet paper so we informed them. They said they’d bring it to us the next day and never brought it. It only has a/c in the bedroom so the rest of the place doesn’t get the full effect of the a/c cooling system.

Beach across the street from the property is really nice but does not have chairs or umbrellas for rent so you'll need to bring your own. Also plan on bringing your own beach towels.

We enjoyed our stay here. As we had a longer stay and from interstate would have been good if when they did the refresh they replenished the Tea and Coffee etc. Also wifi was always dropping out and I used a lot of my data on my phone to watch Netflix, etc.

Needs a massive renovation, it’s smelly, dirty, beds so uncomfortable and the pillows !
