Staff were very cheerful and offer a restaurant as well. Great advice on walks and places of interest. Lots of natural flora and fauna and native animals

The owners were incredibly kind, waiting for me very late and even preparing food for me. I truly appreciated their hospitality.

The room and the view were absolutely stunning! I could easily stay for weeks just de-stressing and decompressing! The couple running the place (including the amazing restaurant!) were so friendly and helpful, they made the stay even better!

The staff were excellent. They were very friendly, professional and helpful. Our room was comfortable and extremely clean. The views from the room and the dining room were spectacular. It was wonderful to see the beautiful wildlife. Thank you Gerlinda, Brendan and Karie for a fantastic stay.

Truly lovely lodge with lovely hosts. The garden is absolutely beautiful (with lots of wildlife) and the lodge feels so homely. I loved that the lodge also had some personality and reminded me of holidays with my family when I was younger - I absolutely loved the more retro decor! The room was also clean and had everything you could need. Would absolutely stay again!

Very very quiet, I think only one other room in use the night we were there. Very convenient for visiting Gipsy Point plus close enough for visiting Mallacoota too (and more economical).

The room was adequate, though it felt like time had stopped in the 1980s. The furniture was dark and not very inviting, and the carpeted floor gave a somewhat worn impression. The shower was ok, and the Wi-Fi worked surprisingly well for such a remote location. The rooms are poorly insulated, but the heating function of the air conditioning quickly warmed the space to a comfortable temperature on cold September nights. During our stay, the hotel appeared to be managed mostly remotely, with staff only on-site for limited hours. The much-praised restaurant was unfortunately closed, which was a bit disappointing. On the positive side, there are some lovely walking trails nearby, and Mallacoota is about a 30-minute drive away.

Great location, great food

Wow! When you first drive in my memories return to an old deserted school camp! You can practically hear the banjos twanging. BUT.... What a gorgeous little place. A beautiful outdoor area to enjoy a wine under the stars with a fire pit if you want one. The rooms are very comfortable with relatively new bathrooms. BUT.... the owners! Wow!! They turn up around 5:30pm and open a beautiful restaurant together with French inspired menu. The food was delicious, and the host just could not do enough to make your stay perfect. For those that like a holiday that is total seclusion but with an on site restaurant... this is just so perfect ❤️

Initially thought the property was closed as it was so quiet, turned out I had been sent a message with checking in details which was missed as I was on the road. Property is a bit tired and facilities available definitely didn’t justify the cost. Glad we only stayed the one night, saving grace was seeing the wildlife but wouldn’t stay again.

This was an amazing.spot the accommodatiom was clean and tidy and so peaceful. Walk to the lakes edge was great and watching the wildlife just perfect

This property had a wonderful view, clean, plenty of kangaroos, wilderness setting. No services to report.

The property was clean and comfortable but the restaurant was excellent. Do yourself a favour and have lunch or dinner in the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and service amazing
