The staff was very friendly and nice, the food cooked by the owner was excellent. We also got some good advice for our stay in Australia. Beautiful rooms and garden.

Very friendly staff and room was of a high quality. Restaurant was also good but check as not open all the time. The only problem we had was communication via Expedia which did not happen well. Couldn’t get into room exasperated by complete lack of cell phone coverage for our mobiles. However when sorted it was worth the hour and a half wait.

Great spot for seeing wildlife out the window. We saw 2 kangaroos and a black snake.
The rooms aren’t very sound proofed so we could hear those in the room next to us showering and listening to music which is a shame as it’s so peaceful in the surrounding area.

Truly lovely lodge with lovely hosts. The garden is absolutely beautiful (with lots of wildlife) and the lodge feels so homely.
I loved that the lodge also had some personality and reminded me of holidays with my family when I was younger - I absolutely loved the more retro decor! The room was also clean and had everything you could need. Would absolutely stay again!

Wow! When you first drive in my memories return to an old deserted school camp! You can practically hear the banjos twanging.
BUT....
What a gorgeous little place. A beautiful outdoor area to enjoy a wine under the stars with a fire pit if you want one.
The rooms are very comfortable with relatively new bathrooms.
BUT.... the owners! Wow!! They turn up around 5:30pm and open a beautiful restaurant together with French inspired menu. The food was delicious, and the host just could not do enough to make your stay perfect.
For those that like a holiday that is total seclusion but with an on site restaurant... this is just so perfect ❤️

Initially thought the property was closed as it was so quiet, turned out I had been sent a message with checking in details which was missed as I was on the road. Property is a bit tired and facilities available definitely didn’t justify the cost.
Glad we only stayed the one night, saving grace was seeing the wildlife but wouldn’t stay again.
