Clean, spacious room and friendly staff made our stay enjoyable.

The hotel needs a re-vamp badly. Everything is old. Paint off the walls. Quite bad really. But a good location.

The overall property is a bit run down but room was good and spa was great and locations is excellent.

Property was clean and well maintained and staff were very friendly. The breakfast charge of $20 was a bit excessive as there was no hot food (eggs, bacon, etc) and was basically just cereal and toast.

Last minute booking and very happy. Terrific value. We opted for a spa bath and it was great after a long drive. 10min walk to restaurants. Spectacular view to wake up to. Noisy neighbours in residential close by but even they had to sleep.

Location is spectacular

Our room was upgraded to ocean view upon arrival. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The ocean view and corresponding sunrise the next morning were a real treat. Staff were welcoming. Free parking is available. There was a small amount of noise transfer from the room above, but the pluses made up for it. The location was convenient and walkable and price fair. Would stay here again no problem!

The so called “breakfast” for which we paid additional amount….its just bread and butter one. Not the real cooked ones like…hash-browns, scrambled eggs etc. They didn’t have a cereal at least. It’s in fact extremely unfair to call it a “free breakfast” and charge $40 for that. And the rooms which are outside the hotel….they are just motel style. You enter the rooms from outside (open air). The pictures on your Hotels.com app are totally misleading to say the least. We r just giving our honest feedback. Not sure how much you really care.

Was only for one night, perfect.

When calling to add on another night the girl on the phone was not clear that we could have the same room. After asking her a few times she then told us we were able to. Upon arrival, the same staff in the office Was on her phone when we walked in a greeted us while still looking at her phone. When I requested some more towels, I was told we would receive clean towels in the morning. I told her that I was going to shower and then use the spa ,requiring more towels. I asked for 4 towels. When returning to our room the was 3 towels. Next day, our room had bed was made . There were 2 clean towels, no bath mat for shower bathroom. There was not even bottled water. Not even ice trays in the freezer. No mini bar or any snacks to purchase. The was no information of Port Macquarie. No condominiums explaining local sites,attractions, activities, restaurants extra as per other Motels provide. Would we stay there again. No Harsh review . But fair.

Room was good but the water pressure in the shower was dreadful, and so was the shower head.

Great location, easy parking, comfy bed Dated room, has a microwave but room instructions say no cooking allowed and no cutlery or plates provided. Disappointing really.

Needs an update in the hallways . We are in our 70’s and had trouble with getting up 2.5 flights of stairs and none of the staff offered to help us. Breakfast is very minimal, but we already knew that when we booked. The sea view was half lake and rest buildings. I found the same when we left both had backs aching all the way to Mooloolaba

The room was quite ordinary for the price. Not sure if the room standards vary based on who you book it thru ( in this case Expedia ). After we booked-in we got locked out, the card wouldn't work, had to go to Reception to let us in, not sure what would have happened if the reception desk wasn't manned. The vinyl floor outside the bathroom was swelling due to water damage. Bathroom door handle did not work properly, the bathroom vent wasn't working, had to leave the window open constantly, mould on bathroom floor tiles and shower walls and water damage around bathroom door frame. The whole room looked little sad. For a few more dollars i would have gone elsewhere

We had a nice very room if the ocean. Room was very functional with frig microwave WiFi etc. the bathroom had great lighting. Receptionist was helpful and the laundry room was a plus
