All staff were friendly, helpful and polite. The original concierge /reception gentleman was extra kind and thoughtful enough to allow me an early check in without charge until his female manager stopped him and demanded I pay an early check in fee of AUD100 to which I refused. My check in date was October 7 ( Monday) which is a public holiday, if Ibis would like to check their staff roster log they will be able to find out which staff go out of their way to make guest want to come back and stay and which staff is not suitable to be working in the hospitality industry. Also the day before I checked out I suffered a nasty fall hence hurt my should, the gentleman at the reception at the day I checked out helped me load all my luggage’s into the taxi which is highly appreciated. Overall, will recommend this hotel, cannot let “one rotten apple spoilt the entire barrel”, so to speak.

Clean, tidy, good coffee but best of all location, location

Nice and cozy boutique hotel in a wonderful walking neighborhood. About a good 20 minutes walking distance to Circular Quay and Overseas Passenger Terminal.

We only stayed one night, but the staff were great! We were able to check in early, which was appreciated.

This hotel was handy to a transit station and the harbour front. The staff were polite and attentive. Even though they have tried hard to block out the street noise, it was still somewhat noisy in the room.

Great stay. Staff were so helpful and friendly from arriving, finding parking, checking out + great area near entrance of hotel to work from. Good spot to access centre city and Barangaroo.

The staff are just incredible here, thanks so much for all your help with my delivery and stay. A great centrally-located hotel with more than you'd expect for what you pay for. A nice lounge area with power and sparkling water is fantastic, and great coffee. Also, not Ibis itself, but the Italian sandwich place next door is unreal. 10/10.

We found the reception girl so lovely. Kind plesant helpful. If Ibis had 10 girls like her it would never have any worries. This girl helped us get a uber seen that we got into the car as well as my husband had a walker.Thank you.

Despite being located right by a highway, I never heard a single vehicle drive by. The location is ideal for walking to most tourists spots and the nearest station was not too far away making it a viable option to go to and from the airport.

Very noisy. Thin walls, you can hear everything, pack your ear plugs. Not just the traffic but neighbours bathrooms etc.

Was very close to everything around the city.. Perfect place to stay if you are looking for around Darling harbour.. Could do with some biscuits when you have an early morning coffee.. Overall very good place..

Such a great location, friendly staff and lots of great things about it. However our stay was tarnished by an almost non-working shower head that only let 3-4 streams of water out making it impossible to shower and wash our hair. Secondly there was a very noisy banging coming from one of the air conditioning vents that came and went all night long which lead to a very interrupted sleep. Besides these 2 issues with our room, I would recommend this accommodation.
