With transportation would be better

We checked-in late at 9pm on New Year Eve. The staff was nice and friendly, yet he can’t retrieve my room booking details which I have placed order and fully paid in mid November. He explained clearly that Hotels.com booked my room through other agencies so the data was failed to drop into the hotel system. Lucky that we got into the last hotel room, yet nightmare came as this is the first time I met a big cockroach on the floor as I got into a hotel room. This is the most memorable hotel stay that I have in 2023.

Very busy carpark but there is also underground gated parking available with key access. Busy restaurant and bar, reception staff friendly and helpful. It's an older property that is not flash or fancy but has been well maintained with some refurbishments. The room was a good size and very comfortable and clean with a nice couch and decent size TV. Very comfy bed. Great value for money.

Room was comfortable and clean few bit of things that needed attention (broken floor tiles) and we did find some bugs not sure what they were just got rid of them and carried on, good for the money no more to say.

Staff are lovely. Room in fair condition. Hallways and elevator require a clean.

Needed some documents printed for court, offered to pay for them however the staff couldn't be more helpful and accommodating, no payment required! The young lady made a stressful time just that little bit easier :)

Ideal location for us and for public transport

Terrible, been 2 weeks and still waiting for security deposit to be refunded and staff not interested in helping will definitely not be back !

The property was very nice

I liked that they provided a chair to put in shower cubicle for me to hold on to. I did not like that the bathroom was very old-fashioned. There was no grab rail. It did not have the new type of shower head that is detachable to wash hard to reach places. The grout was grubby on the floor.It was also discoloured around the shower hob. The continental breakfast was very expensive. The coffee machine only made luke warm coffee. The cooked breakfasts were okay but not good value for money. We were given a very small room facing the highway and we could hear the traffic noise. The couch was placed at right angles to the TV and gave us sore necks if we tried to watch TV while sitting on it. The cleaning staff neglected to collect rubbish eg I left newspapers and used tissues etc lying on the floor near the entrance to our room and they left it there.

Regarding a recent booking experience through Hotels.com. I have an extremely unpleasant experience. At the time of booking, I was presented with two room options of the same type, one at a lower price and one at a higher price. I deliberately chose the higher-priced option, as the images shown clearly indicated a larger room. Having stayed at this hotel multiple times before, I am familiar with the room layouts and was confident that the image displayed corresponded to a larger (executive-style) room. However, upon check-in, I was assigned a smaller standard room. The front desk staff informed me that I had not booked the larger room, but rather a standard room. This contradicts the impression created during the booking process, where the images displayed for the selected option showed a significantly larger room. I subsequently contacted Hotels.com to explain the situation, but was informed that I had not booked the larger room. This response is extremely disappointing, as it does not address the core issue — the use of misleading or incorrect images during the booking process. And I still have the pictures of the room layout on my confirmation , it does prove that hotels.com used the wrong pictures. It is clear that the images presented influenced my decision to pay a higher price. If the images shown were inaccurate or did not correspond to the actual room booked, this constitutes a misleading representation of the product / service
