Great room. Couldn’t believe how nice it was for the money.

Ideal location, large apartment everything you need for a holiday stay

View not the best, but everything else was good

Should be way more soundproofing between floors, walls and outside. Loud traffic very early mornings. Chairs being dragged on floor above and better bigger comfier beds

I would suggest not to stay on the corner overhanging the Sea Life and the wharf because the music is horrific and loud on Saturday night. But the middle room are good.

Great location and staff

Newport is in a great location – close to the beach, the Wharf and the Esplanade. We stayed in a ground floor motel room in January 2025 for one night. It suited our purposes enough that we booked for another night in May 2025. Both times we had the closest room to reception, opposite the lifts, next to the pool. It was clean, comfortable and very spacious. Parking was easy and close to the rear entrance. Several reviews refer to how noisy these rooms are. This one was noisy, but that didn't bother us as we spend little time in the room and each time was an overnight stay on the way elsewhere. If you want a quiet, relaxing stay and spend time in the room - avoid this one. During our stay in May we checked in and went out. We came back to get ready for dinner and found the 90cm bathroom mirror had fallen off the wall and shattered on the floor. Reception was closed. When we called the after hours number we were very surprised to be told that no staff were available and were asked to clean it up ourselves. This was extraordinarily poor service, and not in accordance with our other interactions with reception staff. After some to-ing and fro-ing we were told someone was now onsite and would clean up the glass. This bloke was friendly and helpful and got it done efficiently. We are very unlikely to stay here again based purely on the attitude of the person that answered the after hours call.

The apartment was clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. Close to the main street of Mooloolaba.

Needed full length mirror. Bathroom mirror was too high to use. Strange having toilet with no door, right opposite fridge.

Stayed for one night in motel accommodation on ground floor. Great location, easy parking and friendly reception staff. Room was spacious and clean. Bed comfortable. This place suited our purposes perfectly. I read reviews saying the motel rooms are very noisy. Our room was right next to the pool, reception and the front entrance. There was noise from those, but it didn't inconvenience us because we were at the beach, out for dinner, sleeping, then got up fairly early. If you wanted to sleep in you might be bothered. We will definitely stay here again.
