Newport's position is brilliant. Just park the car and walk to cafes, restaurants, the surf club, The Esplanade—just about everything is nearby for that short stay where you don't want to be driving everywhere. We were on the top floor (15) which afforded us a great view of the coastline. Didn't try the pool—winter up here so decided to leave that for another time. The unit has enough for self-catering, but who wants to cook on a break when there is so much nearby? I'll be back.
