We arrived late and the staff were a wonderful help. The hotel is very modern and clean and located along the harbour with a great boardwalk to stretch the legs after a long drive. The kids enjoyed Cold Rock ice cream a 5 min max stroll from the hotel. We grabbed some Thai takeaway too but could easily have opted for something on the room service menu. The pool has a great slide for the kids and a small playground. A short drive up the road/20 minute walk and you’re at Newcastle Beach with the amazing ocean baths. There is a beautiful scenic walk along the coast with a kiosk right on the beach selling food and coffee. Wish we had more time to explore but we were only stopping over for the night. Super comfy bed and pillows.

The room was inline with my expectation. Everything was clean and neat. The Staff were wonderful and very responsive. Always had a smile on their face. The pool was great on hot day. The bonus that i didn't realise when book was the partnership Rydges has with the next door gym. That was so much better that using an average hotel gym and it was super convenient.

ROOM 409
The cleaning person left the dirty towels inside a laundry bag in the kitchen. Plus did not tidy the living area.
Also did not take away the ice jug and left it outside our door.
I was expecting a better service.

Preis/Leistung passen in diesem Hotel nicht zusammen. Zimmer müssen dringend renoviert werden. Teppich im Zimmer mit Flecken. Beim Frühstück gab es nicht einmal einen Kaffeeautomaten. Cappucinos wurden extra berechnet. Weder Wurst noch Käse. Für den Zimmerpreis nicht akzeptabel.
