On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff. Our suite was as beautiful as portrayed in the images. The decor is beautiful and classy and everywhere was clean. The Concierge was extremely helpful. The hotel itself is in a very good location. All this made for a delightful stay.

the hotel looks and feels very high end.
pity the car park onsite is not large enough so we have to use the overflow car park. short walk, but still not as good as parking onsite.

We have stayed at the Stamford a number of times, and I am very surprised at the lack of parking, that there is no valet parking any more and the renovations to the restaurant downstairs is more like a corner cafe than a 5 star hotel.
I was told that my room was upgraded, but the room featured all the features I had booked and paid for - king bed and river view.
This has long been a favourite hotel of ours, but sadly, I do not believe we will come back.

Lovely, comfortable stay. Spacious room with great view. Some aspects of the room were a little tired looking. Excellent service and the buffet brekky was great. Always love going to the Stamford 😊

Another great stay at our favourite hotel in Brisbane .
Always friendly and helpful staff .
Rooms very clean and comfortable.
Fantastic pool and jacuzzi overlooking the river .
Ideal location right next to the Botanical Gardens and the new pedestrian bridge to Kangaroo Point .
Five minute walk to Southbank river restaurants and a ten minute walk into the city centre.
On site parking a big plus too

Beautiful old hotel. Very central and breakfast was great. Parking was difficult as the passes didn’t work so to exit we had to go to the front desk every time after we had tried to use the pass and expensive at $49 per day

Lovely location right next to the river and botanical gardens. Suite was clean but dated. Parking was a nightmare. Staff instructed us to park a block away. Luggage drop off and pick up was an issue.
