I recently stayed at Windsor Hotel, which boasts a rich history of over 150 years, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon our arrival with two large pieces of luggage, we were greeted by a male staff member who promptly walked away to the restroom, showing no interest in assisting us. When we were checking out and walking to the door, the bellboy saw us but chose to walk away to assist other guests with their luggage for a ride in a Mercedes-Benz, leaving us to manage on our own. It’s unclear if he had any advantage in doing so. We ended up putting our luggage back in the car ourselves while navigating several stairs at the entrance. While the female receptionist was helpful, the overall attitude of the staff left much to be desired. The cleanliness of the hotel was also concerning; I found a spider web above the bed, and the windows had clearly gone uncleaned for quite some time. It’s disheartening to see such a historic establishment being let down by its current staff. I hope they can address these issues for future guests.

It's really classic hotel from outside to inside. If you really love the antique furnitures, you must love it. Hope the hotel can improve their modern facilities, such as USB adaptor, wifi and more electic socket in the room.

飯店給我們提早入住，並且安排高樓層的房間，飯店配置舒適優雅，住在140年的古蹟飯店裡，非常棒。飯店人員友善服務優秀，飯店位置方便到達電車與地鐵。可惜我被蟎蟲咬了、以及浴缸水龍頭水管很髒，原本想泡澡，但因為水太髒作罷。機場接送到飯店大約35-40分鐘。樓下有英式下午茶可以體驗，一個人89AU，如果有經費，推薦大家可以慢慢享用。附近離唐人街很近，離劇院也很近，大家可以安排一些劇院的文化體驗。

I loved the style and aesthetic of the furniture in the hotel and rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel it's self is very central and close to Parliament station making it easy to travel into the CBD. The room was a great size and I really appreciated that the bathroom had a bath as it's something you don't see in hotels often unfortunately. I'd highly recommend staying here and I would definitely stay here again!

This is an older property so well worn. I loved the very big “superior room” which felt very spacious with high ceilings. Property has old world charm but could do with new bathrooms, carpets and furnishings.

Not what I expected from a 5 star hotel. Very tired looking and outdated.

Staff were lovely but found the room very cold ,l put the heating up but room was still cold .But would still stay again

The hotel has a good old style feeling. But could do with an update room doors are loose, plumbing services upgrade hot water very slow. Inconsistent staff ability particularly in the Cricketers Bar with partially trained staff.

The staff are very friendly and efficient. The old world charm of the hotel is great and easy access to the free tram

Perfect location!

The Windsor was very welcoming and full of character. Staff were fantastic. Food was delicious. We had a mix up with our booking however with the persistent help of both Expedia and the Windsor it was eventually resolved for which I was very grateful. A delightful stay.

Beautiful property however my room had mould inside the bathroom mirror, stained curtains and a lot of stray hairs around the room from housekeeping

This was just an ov e rnight stay in melbourne. Lovely & quiet overnight. Bed comfortable.

Noisy, insufficient staff to service volume of customers, tired old rooms, no response from room service, guest services on numerous occasions during visit

Comfortable heritage property with a good feel. Location great and on the fringe of the hustle & bustle which was nice. Housekeeping could be sharper, with replenishments of consumables. Some amenities sub par; shower low water pressure, yellow dim lighting over vanity.

Heritage and traditional decor. Cricketers bar was good. 10 % off for residence

The hotel was built in 1883 and the uniqueness of this old world charm is what was attractive to us - right down to the housemaids uniforms.

Fantastic breakfast. Add it on when you book, it’s way cheaper than purchasing at the property.

La localisation de l’hôtel est très bonne. Les aires communes sont un peu vétustes mais il s’agit d’un vieil hôtel historique. Le personnel est quelque peu désinvolte; par exemple, aucune mention faite sur les avantages VIP (surclassement, bouteille de vin gratuite ..) Le petit-déjeuner était inclus dans notre tarif. Je dirais qu’il est ok puisque qu’inclus mais si je devais payer 45$ (lorsque sélectionné en dehors de l’inclusion avec la chambre), je dirais qu’il n’est pas à la hauteur. Nous avions déjà séjourné à cet hôtel mais je considérerais une autre propriété lors d’une prochaine visite.
