the hotel is clean and convenient situated I also found it friendly and professional that the manager greeted me with goodbye when I collected my luggage and left the hotel to catch my flight.

We were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony which looked over Queen’s Garden and it is very close to the Brisbane Mall. The room was old world and beautifully appointed. The staff were ever so helpful, you would not regret staying there.

If you want to appreciate the beauty of amazing historical architecture then you have to stay here. The suites are incredible, not in the modern sense, but in the grandeur and beauty of a bygone era.

Convenient location in the city, walking distance to Suncorp Stadium. Easy, onsite parking. Spacious rooms, nicely appointed. Large bathroom with great sized bathtub. Friendly and helpful staff and convenient 24 hour reception.

Beautiful historic property with friendly staff and located in walking distance of major attractions. High-ceilings and sweeping windows/curtains make the rooms feel very spacious. Great price and quiet/peaceful as well. Would come back!

It is a lovely and charming heritage hotel that is extremely comfortable with spacious rooms and is in a prime location. Staff are extremely helpful and welcoming - they were truly exceptional. The bathroom was a good size but some of the fittings have worn with time and there are a few things we feel were missing from the tea and coffee station. Overall a very enjoyable stay and we look forward to our next visit.

My wife and I enjoyed two incredible nights here. Check in was incredibly smooth and fast. Counter staff were friendly and helpful. Location allowed us to travel to the city center for shopping and to Southbank on foot. The architecture has great character. We liked that the room's design and furniture selection retained most of the building's old world charm. It was incredibly spacious and had high ceilings which is rare in apartments today, much less hotels. If we were nitpicky, the only thing we wished for was access to the balcony where we could perhaps lounge in the evenings.

Room was clean, beds very comfortable. Staff are lovely and extremely helpful. Enjoyed the historic building features, with modern touches. Absolutely loved our stay and will most certainly be back for future visits.

Spacious rooms with a beautiful large tub and high ceilings

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and very quiet. Restaurant and bar food very good. Great location. The only downsides are the dim lighting throughout and somewhat ‘tired’ decor.

We had a fabulous stay…the staff was excellent and so nice and helpful…Miho even researched good vegan restaurants for me. Grant gave us so much good information for our visit in Brisbane and to other parts of Australia. And to stay in a historical heritage hotel is very special. Plus the location is great! Walked to the Botanical Gardens and hopped on the City Cat water ferries (cost 50 cents!) to get anywhere in the city. Wonderful stay!
