The room was spotless, staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. The beds and linen were so comforting and comfortable and the bathroom even had a full size bathtub ...winning. Such a amazing old school hotel right in the middle of where all the action is. Staff had great knowledge of the local area/public transport and were always ready to assist. Fantastic photo opportunities inside and out.

This place is dated but in a good way, has all the character of this 100+ year old building still intact. Didn't really have any problems. Only dealt with staff and check in and really felt like we had hotel to ourselves as never really saw anybody around but we left early each day and came back later in day. Close to many things including Mall, shops, stores, restaurants and the river. Easy to get to ferries that take you up and down river as far as you want and back for .50 which is amazing. Southbank is close as well as the Star Casino with amazing 23rd floor lookout (see this and its free). Rooms were clean and spacious including bathrooms with modern shower and fixtures. No outside noises could be heard even thunder was hardly noticeable. Didn't use restaurants or amenities and stayed several days for end of vacation.

Such a beautiful hotel and everyone we interacted with was helpful and pleasant. With the 100 degree heat and 98% humidity the air system had trouble keeping up but at least we had some air! It really is a beautiful building and a great location.

The room was "dressed" well considering such high ceilings but it was poorly furnished and everything seemed old. Over-full powerblock behind the dresser. The bathroom definitely needed updating with an old high bath which was chipped and seemed dirty - the shower was over the bath and having to climb into it was hard work when you are old. The water pressure was almost none-existent. The saving grace was nice toiletries and a nice view.

오래된 옛 정부기관 건물을 호텔로 개조했어요. 구석구석 다소 낡았지만 5성급인 만큼 기본적으로 청결하고 무엇보다 공간이 넓어서 좋아요. 대형 욕조 외 샤워부스가 따로 있어 좋고, 작은 테이블과 의자, 책상 등 일하거나 수납할 수 있는 공간이 충분해요. 위치는 수상택시 정거장과 가깝고 여러 관광지, 시내와 가까워서 도보로 이동하기 편리합니다. 콜스도 가까워서 물이나 간단한 간식 사 먹기도 좋고요. 워낙 중심지에 위치해 있어 저녁에도 다니기 안전한 편입니다.

This was a really great place to stay. So centrally located. Room was excellent with 4+ metre ceilings and beautifully appointed room. Shower over bath needs an update though in this particular room (they apparently aren’t all like that) And staff were excellent.

Room was lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly on both check in and check out. The hotel is within walking distance to the Queen Street Mall, Casino and South Bank. It’s the second time I’ve stayed there and it’s still wonderful.

Room was lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly on both check in and check out. The hotel is within walking distance to the Queen Street Mall, Casino and South Bank. It’s the second time I’ve stayed there and it’s still wonderful.
