At almost $300 a night, the upstairs corridors desperately need painting. The walls pretentiously painted black, are scuffed, scraped, chipped, exceedingly shabby. The blue show piece sofa/divan at reception is full of holes & dirty. The so-called "Grab & Go" food bar is completely inadequate. Travellers crave fresh fruit, green salads, yoghurt, cheese etc ie healthy options, not stodgy bread & wraps. As for the BOOKS on display at reception: more pretentious rubbish.

Excellent location for exploring Kings Park, the city and West Perth area. Bring your bike and get some miles in around KP. Very friendly staff, rooms with innovative space use solutions, perfect for the short stay or a weekend staycation

We found an empty water bottle under the bed, but otherwise happy with the cleanliness.

The exhaust system to the showers needs to be modified or smoke detectors moved as the smoke detectors activated twice in one night by other guests due to steam.

Room not very functional however bed was comfy Bathroom very clean and functional nice style however with the size and room design made bathroom access very tight. Under bed bag storage inconvenient Breakfast menu unappealing Front lobby lounge comfy but style blatantly targeting social media exposure felt cheapened and a bit tired Filthy blue couch in lobby ick

Didn’t get my 100 dollars security back

This room was absolutely tiny. I could not open my suit case without it being constricted by the wall and the bed Tiny wardrobe with 2 hangers, aircon would not blow heat (it’s freezing in Perth), no bathroom vanity space, bathroom sink broken with tile parts fallen off. Be linen not warm enough for winter, The most uncomfortable stay ever, definitely not suitable when travelling for work

This property was recommended as being small but good. It may have been when new but is now in poor condition and cleanliness. There was a coffee spot dripped on one of the bedside tables when we arrived and there it stayed for 4 nights. The shelves where the towels and flannels were placed, were dusty and had a long black hair. I flicked up the bottom sheet on the bed as I pulled the top back and found the mattress was badly stained and worn. The air conditioner was not working for 2 nights and needed maintenance. The TV kept turning itself off after 5 minutes. Bedside tables and shelves had not been wiped clean for some time, accumulated dust. I knew the room would be small but my husband had to get on the bed so I could manoeuvre our bags around. (there are spaces under the bed to store) One good aspect was the use of a microwave and on tap filtered water down in the restaurant. All in all, I would not recommend this Hotel.

Love the boutique relaxing vibe, that offers the perfect central place to stay. Central to Perth CBD, hospitals, restaurants, fwy, kings park botanical garden. The staff are lovely & accommodating with a smile. We highly recommend The Tribe & look forward to staying another time.
