Great Sauna Great Staff Good food

The rooms feel a little dated. For instance they still have internet cable hookups but no USB ports, and the wallpaper/decor is a bit odd. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The in-house restaurant had a large menu that made me nervous but the meals were surprisingly good. The pool looked good but it was too cold for us to try it (its not heated).

Service not ideal due to low staff numbers. Dining food quality good, service very slow then main arrived too early. Drinks service poor, staff not customer focussed.

The concierge can make or break a place. This one "broke" the place. No smile, no eye contact, no friendliness. It felt like we were a nuisance to him. The bar took 20 minutes to serve us 1 glass of wine and a bottle of cider ( no glass with the cider). No other customers were in the bar. The dirty room service dishes, with food on them, were still outside rooms 18 hours later. The rooms were quiet and comfy though.

First time in Brisbane. Loved the location of the View. Great breakfast and lovely staff. Close to some great restaurants and hotel

The hotel is on the river and has great view. it's an old facility and the furniture need urgent update. The breakfast for 15$ was absolutely amazing!!! and the staff were very friendly.

Lovely hotel. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the river. Beautiful! The room was spacious and so beautifully decorated. Bathroom also spacious and well lit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay including the cosy bar downstairs. Would definitely stay again.

I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Check-in was smooth, and the room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect – close to major attractions and public transport, yet peaceful and quiet at night. I particularly appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which offered a great variety and was always fresh. Housekeeping did a wonderful job each day, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and relaxing. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, I highly recommend . I’ll definitely be coming back!

It would have been nice to have a blanket on the bed as the doona was too hot and we didn't sleep well

Lovely hotel. Nice, spacious room with very comfortable beds. I only took one star out because the cleaning wasn’t very good, mainly in the bathroom/shower. There was mould in the shower walls and hairs on the wall and a bobby pin on the floor of the bathroom But other than that it’s a nice hotel and I’d would stay again

Do not stay at this Hotel. I had to fly urgently for family matters, from Barcelona, so a long haul flight in an aerial sardine can, the reviews for the View were good and the location was convenient. I got room 205 which was pleasantly located on top of the highway, just metres from roaring trucks and ambulances. There was no double or triple glazing so it felt like I was sleeping by traffic lights (the fact was sleep was impossible). The room should have been used as a storeroom, but yet, $180 to lye in a bed and listen to traffic whizzing by. I should have slept in a park! Woeful Hospitality experience!
