For the money you paid is not worth it. They did not help you at all and even they did not have a bottle of water as a welcome in your room . Very disappointed

They don’t bother to maintain the building. Hotel not that old but zero maintenance so falling apart and looks dirty. Unfriendly and arrogant staff, particularly at reception and bars (saying thank you or smiling not their style). Breakfast was a pain since they had to bring the coffee and the sugar and the cream and they would bring one and not the other. Pool must have bad filter or improper maintenance as water was murky. In the price range it is the worst hotel I have stayed and I have stayed in about 1000 hotels in my life. The concierge was useless and seemed too busy with personal matters to assist guest. Storage of luggage was a nightmare. There were a few exceptions with some staff and our room was clean but overall I would never stay or go there. Many other bad experiences endured at Accra. The beach was nice so that’s the best I can say.

The beach area and the pool was really nice. The dining had a limited menu, several buffets offered which I’m not fond of. The rooms were a good size, just ordinary but nice views of pool/ beach. The front desk, and door persons were very nice and extremely helpful in getting transportation etc. Close to ships and across the street shops and market.

Windstar no longer recommends as many little flaws. our room safe did not lock and shower was also non operational. Sat nite dinner was overpriced chinese buffet only.

Clean rooms great location Better than previous years

We stayed for 3 nights. There was a little inconvenience for getting our room when we got there. But overall, we got a clean room, so we were happy for that reason. Beach was not swimmable during our stay, but the pools were opened. Staff are helpful during our stay.

as always immaculate room staff superb especially SOPHIA on reception. always goes the extra mile nothing is too much trouble either all the staff very friendly approachable and helpful

This place was in a good location. Easy to walk to many places, transportation was accessible, shopping close by and of course, the beach with right there. Staff was helpful and very friendly. Great place.

We had the beach view! The room was clean but updates need to be done on almost all the rooms! The cleaning staff were very nice and helpful!

Hotel was clean, staff friendly and helpful. Views from ocean view rooms was good, easily seeing and hearing the ocean, a few palm trees were obstructing the view slightly, but peaceful environment with birds chirping and I even saw 2 monkeys running around.

My husband and I just returned from an 7-day stay at the Accra, and we both thought it was a 3 star hotel on a 5 star beach. The good: —Location: convenient to so much —The beach: lovely —Cleanliness: the hotel is clean —Concierge/security desk was helpful and friendly The bad: —Our shower didn’t work properly (water trickled out). It took 4 days of going to the front desk to ask someone to look at it in the morning, then asking if someone had looked at it in the afternoon, before we were offered a different room with a working shower. —Related, some of the front desk staff was defensive and rude one of those times. Just short of accusing me of lying (literally said “we have video.” Of my shower working? Just a super weird thing to say when I was trying to be as pleasant as possible dealing with this exasperating issue). —the hotel is old and could use updating (see shower above). In our new room, some of the outlets did not work, and one was installed in a way that you couldn’t plug anything in. —The walls are thin. You can hear everything your neighbors are doing (including snoring). Overall, I would caution against staying here. It presents nicely, but the reality is 4-stars is very generous. I would not return.

The room was in need of an update. Door lock would not open, some painting needs update. The amenities ,pool, restaurant was fine. Food was good and plentiful. We enjoyed our time at Accra .

The pool was closed for a day and the staff on the beach paid special attn to select guests but the overall experience was ok. I probably wouldn’t stay there again though.

The room was fine, clean etc. we did have an issue with the door lock, it wouldn’t unlock, but fortunately the hotel staff came to the rescue and repaired the door lock. The features were fine and we had no complaints. This is my favorite Barbados hotel, and when I return next time the Accra will be my first choice.

We were facing the parking lot, which was fine. Should have book ocean view. Staff was very helpful, kind and wished us good morning or good evening depending of the time of day. I will recommend this place. We also liked the fact that there was a food court/boutiques on the other side of the street. Thank you again.
