Every year we come to Toronto for a week to get away from our family business and relax for a change. Every year we stay at the Chelsea.
We've never had a complaint. If I really really had to find one, the A/C wasn't as strong in our room this year as past years but it was still totally serviceable. We just like it super cold at night.
The staff is fantastic, the restaurant is nice if you don't want to go out or just want a drink. Most everything is within walking distance and whatever isn't that's why Uber exists.

Lovely hotel. Short Walk to the underground or buses, streetcars and very easy to get around.
Disappointed that the hotel bar wasn’t open but you could have a drink in the restaurant. We had a lovey meal in there and they catered for my coeliac disease and the need for gluten free food very well. Tho there wasn’t a choice for dessert. The snack bar has no gluten free options… we didn’t try the market restaurant so not sure about that.
The room was good only complaint was our mattress was at the end of its life and has a defined dip each side. Otherwise very comfortable.
Would stay again. Recommend.
