Arrived in the afternoon and found there's no front desk / check in area. Called for staff to come and assign room. No physical lock on the door, and there are staff use code to enter my room without permission late in the evening when I was lying on the bed, saying that it is because of their own miscommunication. Very Unprofessional and Unsafe.

The stairs are very narrow, the room is small and there are no facilities.

No wash cloths. No soap. No shampoo. Beds hard as rocks. No air conditioning. Clean.

View from the balconies on second and third floor of CN tower is definitely where the value lies it’s super close to Spadina so on a Friday or Saturday those street are highly trafficked the building itself is basically an old building in which a lot of work was done to repolish but still feel like a rooming house and in many way it is but it was secured with numbered code to get in and the frames of the rooms are pretty solid so someone would have hard time kicking it in the rooms have bed on metal frames which was a sigh of relief and no exposed wood which bed bugs tend to breed in . all and all i have mixed feelings in one sense I feel I payed way too much and should of cancelled and found another place but I did have fun scootering on Spadina and the views from the balconies were great some riff raff people do seem to live there but i slept good and my son also did it just not a place would revisit for more than 100 per night I payed 240 plus tax per night to stay in what is not that much bigger than a jail cell but at least they didn’t have bed bugs

Excellent value for the downtown location. Neat, clean. If you just need a room for the night, highly recommend

tiny room

I enjoyed staying here - it was clean and the staff were lovely and it was in a convenient location, short walk to the 510 tram stop and to a bunch of delicious restaurants in Chinatown. BUT keep in mind this is budget accomodation. My room was a tiny internal room and there was a lot of noise. This sort of thing doesn’t bother me, but if you’re a light sleeper or need a lot of space this probably isn’t the place for you. I enjoyed it though, and if I come back to Toronto I’d probably stay here again!

The good & the bad. This place seems to get a big mix of reviews, from the awful to good. I don't get the very low ratings but it is nowhere near perfect. You are paying mainly for the location, you won't find many central based room at such a cheap price. You are in a short walking distance of local shops, cafes, bars, parks, tramlines and museums. It take about a 20 minute walk right into the centre of the city. The area felt safe and China Town is great. Room was clean, nice bathroom with all needed amenities & comfortable bed. The bad, as posted you are getting a small box of a room no TV / cabinet space, kettle, etc. The worst is the room temperature, well it was very cold and the flooring was very very cold, cold enough to keep socked feet off the floor. There is small room heater which only made bit of difference. Did place heater very high but that set off the fire alarm, strangely when had a very hot shower with bathroom door open it also set off the fire alarm, but I guess shows that it worked. Maybe wont be so bad in summer but I hate to think how it would feel in winter. Access to the building itself was secure as you needed an entrance code.

i quite enjoy staying here! this was my second time and it’s in a great location, safe to walk around even at night despite the appearance of the area. the itself is just a bathroom and bed, small table and chair which is all i needed for my one night. will stay again!

Para tomar banho e dormir é bom, localização é ótima, no bairro tem muitas opções para comer, transporte bem fácil. Não existe serviço de quarto, muito menos limpeza

Habitación limpia pero muy pequeña

The room was spotless when I entered. I didn't see a lot of staff but it's not a very big hotel in a very quiet neighbourhood. Check-in is done over the phone and that wasn't an issue at all. The room is small but it had everything that I needed; a clean bed and a bathroom. It's a great spot for a night or two if you're looking to save money.

Di questa struttura salvo solo la posizione nel cuore di Chinatown a due passi dal museo di arte moderna e a circa mezz'ora di cammino da Union Station. Struttura vecchia, arredamento meno che essenziale. Lenzuola in sintetico che ti caricano elettrostaticamente e prendi la scossa non appena tocchi qualcosa, manca un asciugacapelli e in più avevo la compagnia di uno scarafaggio. Altra nota positiva è che era molto molto calda.

property was extremely clean and well-maintenanced throughout the building. quick and easy check in/out process. very convenient location close to many great shops and restaurants. i felt safe, secure, and warm. thank you!!

Só a localização é boa. O quarto estava limpo. Fiquei uma noite por é perto do aeroporto. Mas não ficaria novamente.

The place could be more cleaner. The room had microwave and fridge to use. The staff was friendly but had a bit of a hard time checking in because they said they couldn’t find my name through their list or something. It was sorted out after a couple of minutes. I felt safe during the stay, they had monitors installed infront and smart lock.

Place is well located in the center of the city. However they are very basic accomodstions. My room.was in a basement.

Best rate in Toronto. Basic needs met

I stayed here for a week and really enjoyed my stay! The bathroom was very modern and the shower was excellent. It was a very practical accomodation as it was close to Kensington markets, Queen Street and a 20 minute walk from the CN tower. Make sure to bring earplugs as a fellow guest was being quite loud. Great value for money!
