Great location just off the highway. Stayed in a King suite, very spacious. Bed was super comfortable. Would recommend the hotel. Breakfast was ok. Tipical continental, fruit, cereal, waffle, coffee and jus.

Excellent staff and great facilities. Very close to many amenities such as restaurants and fuel. Our puppy was welcome there and no issues. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Barrie Ontario.

The hot breakfast was great and lots available for everyone. The rooms have been redone and the bathrooms are nice and clean

Clean room, but would have liked hooks or closet by door for coats, and hooks in bathroom for towels. Fan/heater was quite noisy and went in and off all night. Decent breakfast.

Overall everything was as advertised except that we did not have a closet. Kind of funny not to have a closet.

The staff was kind. I wouldn’t say friendly. There wasn’t much conversation, just asked for Id and credit card then we were handed keys. The outside door were we entered to get to our room was kind of run down and the railing in the staircase was very wobbly. The hallway to our room was clean. Our room worked well for us. It was clean and had all we needed. The fridge and microwave didn’t work at first but we figured out that it wasn’t plugged in. Breakfast the next morning had some basics. It would have been nice to have some salsa or cheese to add to the eggs or some home fries/ hashbrowns rather than baked beans. There wasn’t any milk or cream available for coffee just fake coffee mate. All in all it a fine stay and did the trick. Nothing notable or above and beyond.

Shower heads definitely need an upgrade. The room temperature is hot so have to turn the air on in the winter. Besides that it was great, clean and breakfast was good.

Gym was nice

Stayed one night, no elevator, stairs only. Had carpet in room, not a fan but room was clean, and bed was comfortable. The pillows were smaller than standard size and lumpy. If you are a light sleeper, the heater/air conditioning unit fam is quite loud. For the price it was decent.

We had ants in our room. When we told the front desk the sent someone to come vacuum the room and told us there wasn’t any other rooms available. We slept with the ants for another night and left the next morning. Was pretty disappointed by there response to the issue

Clean room but no amenities.

Room windows were painted-shut, no way to open them. Room was equipped with a heater, but didn't have A/C, humidity stayed in and air wasn't renewed enough. Room doors aren't soundproofed enough, I had the bad luck of staying over a hockey weekend, and kids were running around and playing hockey in the corrider in front of my room, while parents were drinking beers and eating pizza next to them. Had to call front desk twice to get order restored (some people are working...) Cleanlines could have been better as well, while not the worst.
