Hôtel was very conveniently located, we have smaller children and were able to walk to Parliament and the Mint with no issue. Very close to Rideau Centre and many shops/ restaurants. Kids enjoyed the pool and it was nice that it had a shallow end/ side for our younger daughter.

We have an absolutely outstanding stay. Our flight got in early and they were able to accommodate an early check in which they didn’t have to. Great location right in the centre of the Byward market Area, with lots of great restaurants and opportunities to explore. Very close walking distance to Parliament as well as other great local attractions and museums.
Excellent pool and fitness Center as well for us to use

I love this hotel - the location is amazing, the staff is exceptional, it's clean and safe. BUT I was put in room 128 - that should not be a hotel room - and I paid $1500 for 4 nights - if you insist on putting people in that room they should be given a SUBSTANTIAL discount. As an Elite member who loves Marriotts I was very disappointed.

My room faced a half wall. The rooms have more of a motel vibe. I was pretty depressed the first night. On my second last day, the cleaning attendant had just left my room and left my used towels on the floor, mirror not cleaned. All staff were very nice. Also the area is surrounded by homelessness, and people that were very high on drugs. I didn’t go out on my own at night.

the room was spacey, very clean, the shower and bathroom were clean and refreshed. all very nice. mini fridge is always appreciated. the staff was very friendly. checkin was super quick. parking on-site right at front of hotel is great. this is downtown ottawa, so lots of homeless people right by the hotel and walking down the nearby streets
