The Marriott Harborfront in Halifax is the perfect place to stay while visiting the city. The location is ideal and the experience is nothing short of amazing. Friendly helpful staff who go out of their way to satisfy you, beautiful rooms, comfy beds, great amenities. I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!!

The staff is exceptional in every area. The food was very good, we had both breakfast and a dinner there.
Parking for the hotel is very handy and attached so you can take the elevator up to your room. I wouldn’t bother paying for valet there as it is very convenient already.
Our room was very clean and everything was in good condition.
My only complaint is the bathroom door - it does not sufficiently close off the room for privacy.

We booked a HarbourFRONT room versus a harbourview. Save your $ on the upgrade bc there are no Harbourfront views-it’s all city view with a view to the water which is harbourVIEW. WE EVEN ASKED AT FRONT DESK if we could change rooms to a better harbour view as in harbourFRONT room but told ours 383 was the best they could offer.

The food in the restaurant was so fresh and flavorful… the pool was relaxing my harbourfront room view was amazing! I was there for the university men’s hockey championships in March … the weather was cold and snowy/ rainy .. I can just imagine how beautiful and how much fun it would be in the summer!!! so glad I had the opportunity to visit Halifax!
