I enjoyed the stay, but the staff needs to communicate their fees better. When I checked in, I was adding 2 others to the room and needed the extra keys. The staff informed me it was a $35 one time fee. That was their words "one time fee of 35". What they neglected to say, was that it was 35 each night for the additional people. So, the total they charged me was over 200 dollars extra. Don't say it's a 'one time fee' as if it's only 35 dollars and nothing else extra. And I asked them twice, later in the days I stayed there, I called down to the desk to inquire about the security hold and then also reiterated what they said to me the 'one time fee' of 35. It was two different desk attendants who told me it was a one time fee, not a nightly fee. Please communicate properly with your guests, because I wasn't happy with being charged an extra 200 dollars, especially when I booked through Expedia and was already paying things down with Affirm. Not everyone can afford to throw an extra 200 dollars at something, when they have a tight budget. I don't appreciate having had to add this additional charge to my credit card.

I love the clean yet elegant atmosphere of the hotel.. There’s filtered water faucet in the room so it saves me money from buying water and convenient.to get water. The Thomson restaurant is very good with friendly staff service and located on the main floor. The amenities like the pool, hot tub and gym was clean and operated on most hours. As a guest I didn’t have to pay full parking fee. It was fantastic and I really enjoyed my conference experience and my 5-night stay at Hyatt Regency Calgary downtown hotel. As well, There was fresh juice offering during my GFOA conference.

Clean hotel and room as always. Staff are very helpful and accomidating. The only disappointment was the club lounge. Usually the food is fresh but this time around everything looked like it was sitting for a long time.

It was great. Our third time staying in a row for comic con. Would have been nice to know the pool/hottub was closed half the time before we arrived/when we booked. As the hot tub is a significant last of our experience. But will stay there again next year.

I had a wonderful day and I paid extra for the breakfast, which was wonderful. I also met Andrea the housekeeper who was so friendly and helpful. She even gave me a hug when I was checking out! Lovely people.

I booked this hotel through the Expedia app, and upon arrival, I was told that they had not received the payment from the platform. Despite already having paid for my reservation, the hotel required me to pay again directly, assuring me that the duplicate charge would be refunded within a couple of days.
I agreed under those conditions in order to check in, but it has now been over a week and I have not received any refund or clear resolution.
This situation is very concerning and creates a lack of trust. As a customer, you expect proper coordination between the hotel and the booking platform. It is not acceptable for the customer to bear the burden of such issues, especially without any follow-up or accountability.
I would recommend being very cautious when booking here and confirming directly with the hotel in advance to avoid similar problems.

Staff were friendly and open to assisting with amenities. Rooms were clean, and towels or soap were available any time of day or night.
The gym was open the entire trip, with a variety of equipment, and kept clean by both guests and staff.
Overall, a very pleasant experience.
