Small but has everything you need. Noisy since it's on a main arterial, traffic and sirens into the night. Unit was clean and tidy. Tiny back yard for ground floor units, can sit outdoors. No front desk, after checking time you get a room number and code to key into your unit. Felt safe, looked like video cameras monitor building. Fine for overnight stay passing through Nanaimo. Note: there was a problem with Expedia, my prepaid stay didn’t get credited, but when informed of the double charge, The Spot immediately refunded my second card charge.

Smelled like mold. Checked out at 930pm

I loved the back femced area for my dog. The shower was excellent. What i found less enchanting was the loud air conditioner and traffic noise. Also loved the great communication. I would stay there again.

The check in was remote and we never saw a person working there except the housekeepers. Property has code locks and you need to enter two different codes to get into the units, plus another code to get to the ice machine which wasn’t working. People were really struggling to get in, and lots of beeping sounds when people are coming and going. It’s a cinder block building and rooms were fairly small. Overall condition of property seems to be deteriorating, including a major tripping hazard on stairway. Property inside is fairly clean but it’s on a very busy and loud road. The price was reasonable but given other issues we wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was as described. It was very clean.

Beaucoup de cheveux et poils au sol, sur les serviettes et dans la douche. Drap avec tâche de sang et toile d'araignées. Et très bruyants !

The upstairs unit was kept making the noise till midnight and when I contacted the customer service , they told me to knock on their door myself… unbelievable!

Very convenient due to online book in and check out and electronic locks. Waited 2 days for wifi access. Air conditioner noisy. No provision to unpack suitcases for staying longer than 2 nights

It was perfect for ourvovernight stay. Communication was wuick if anything was needed. Clean and easy check in check out

We would rate the bed and shower very highly. We had to contact the hotel for the WiFi info as it was incorrect in the manual; however, they were very quick to reply. The grounds left much to be desired. The patio glass was dirty, and the outside area unkempt and not as other guests had commented. Overall a good experience, but not great.

Bathroom was a bit older and not clean. The opportunity to play mini golf in Parkville was great.

Updated rooms, easy access. But limited parking.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Spot. The check in, entry instructions and check out were perfect. The room was really nice and clean. The location was perfect for catching an early Ferry. I will stay here again.

Key pad had no numbers. Could not find the Yale lock or white button mentioned in the check in instructions

Well maintained property. Noisy area along busy road. Very small and tight parking, no sufficient space for a large truck which should be communicated in properly descriptions.
