Motel vibes with hotel quality. Looks like they recently renovated, and they did a great job of it. My room was super clean and the staff were always friendly. Very comfortable bed, and all the basics covered in the room. The breakfast was modest, but very convenient. I happened to get the room at the very corner of the hotel, and the view was incredible. Would easily recommend Vista Inn.

The staff were friendly, the room was very tidy. Although the room was so cold and I think they need new baseboard heaters. One of the staff members was kind and brought us a portable cube heater.
I wasn’t impressed with the continental breakfast. It was more of a grab a couple things, fruit, yogurt, packaged muffins,and go.

Room was clean and beds were comfy however, they were very sterile and lacked any coziness. The bathroom was extremely dated and since the fan didn’t work the ceiling was peeling above the shower.

The staff are absolutely lovely. Overall the Vista Inn has a very cute aesthetic, gorgeous view, and a great Indian restaurant next door. Mattresses are comfortable and rooms are decently sized. I’d say if you need to book last-minute for an affordable price; this is the place to stay. However, the cleanliness of the rooms, especially the bathrooms, floors, mini fridge, and bed sheets need significant improvement. I only needed a 1 night stay last-minute, so I could avoid using the shower (though it was uncomfortable even just using the toilet). For an overnight stay this worked well for me - but if I’m in Kamloops for 2+ nights I definitely wouldn’t stay here just because of the lack of cleanliness.
