Very cozy and stylish hotel located in cultural area in Santiago

Nice location but the room had an old dirty carpet and when I see carpet in a hotel room it always screams bed bugs so I keep my bags on any tiled surface I can find!

Absolutely a perfect location for bars and restaurants and good vibes. So happy with our choice.

Very attentive staff with excellent service throughout the stay. Outstanding restaurant and bar, clean and comfortable room, and convenient hotel pickup made the experience seamless.

The worn out stained bed bug breeding ground carpets show be totally removed and left with solid flooring. I like many avoid carpeted hotel rooms.

The front desk staff were outstanding. Everything about this hotel was first-rate.

Nice location, friendly staff and close to major sights and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay.

Clean room, very nice that there was a water purifier in the room for drinking water, comfortable bed, very nice breakfast/service staff at the restaurants. I did not LOVE the hotel but I would return because of the staff who were absolutely wonderful in making accommodations that were necessary due to some travel difficulties prior to my arrival. My colleague expressed the same - the hotel is "ok", but the staff were tremendous and this sets the stage for a wonderful stay. Thank you to the team at Hotel Cumbres Lastarria.

I'm unable to recommend Hotel Cumbres Lastarria. The hotel is in a great walkable neighborhood. Unfortunately, our advance request for early check-in did not happen (which is important when you're flying from half way around the world). Then we were booked into a room where the mini fridge did not work. The bigger issue is the AC did not work properly (and this was nearly summertime). By the second night, we asked to be moved to a different room. I credit the hotel front desk for honoring this request. At times, the front desk seemed understaffed. We also figured out where to find a nearby supermercado (after a door person/valet told us there were none nearby). I wanted to rate the hotel higher, but these were too many issues.

Room was confortable and clean. Staff helpful. Great breakfast. Good location with valet parking. The only thing is that i would have like is better lighting in the bathroom.
