Staff was attentive and very helpful with our needs. Much appreciated.

Room smelled like someone just smoked cigarettes, even though it was a non smoking room. Wife was miserable the whole time we were there and had to cut our stay and checked out a day earlier.

Just spent 8 nights in the Hyatt on the Bund with Club Lounge access and it was a great place to stay. Thank you to all the staff and especially to Tyrone the Concierge who went the extra mile for me.

Business trip to Shanghai and hotel location is excellent and very comfortable room on the 15th floor. Great choice of food at breakfast and only one complaint is that the staff are very slow to clean tables. I went for breakfast at 0900 hrs Apart from that was excellent

We had to move rooms twice because the rooms were dirty. The first room the carpets/floor hadn't been cleaned, there was crumbs of food all over the floor and on the chair within the room. We informed the front desk, who were actually very good, and were told it would be cleaned by the time we were back from a walk. It hadn't been cleaned some 5 hours later so they move us. The second room was the same but also had hair in the sink and bath where the room hadn't been cleaned. Again, I complained and 45 mins later they moved us. The last room was good but the air-conditioning was not good enough considering the current temperature in Shanghai. I guess they use power saving at night to reduce their costs and so during the night is got warmer and warmer till around 7 when it started to feel cooler again. Overall, the hotel is tired and in need of renovation. I would say it's not worth the money it cost.

The view of the bund from the room was amazing. However, the room definitely need a new coat of paint and update the switches.

Service was quite poor from the door. My family had 5 large suitcases and some bags but we waited for a while for a bellboy or any staff at the entrance of the hotel. Had to go in and ask the person checking temperature to help and bring a trolley as well. Later, one of the staff came to help luckily but did not expect this from a five star hotel since every other hotel we have been in SH or else where had great luggage service. I told the staff at reception about the luggage situation and was totally ignored. The only saving grace was the view of the bund, the bar and the facilities: swimming pool and hot tub. Staff at the fitness facilities were super friendly.

The location of this hotel is fabulous. The Bund lies before you and you have easy access to restaurants and sceinic spots.

Hotel with fabulous views, great restaurant with Sunday champagne brunch and excellent club service. My only complaint is that the ac in restaurants and club lounge is poor- a much mentioned complaint so I’m surprised still not rectified.

Unfortunately, there is a construction project going on right in front of the hotel. Other than that, everything was great.

We spent the new year eve there and enjoyed a decent night, with free parking provided on site.

The view was beautiful although the shape of the building allows you to view inside other guests rooms and them yours. The bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was clean and beautiful. The carpet, chair and other decor were in need of a good cleaning or replace them to update. The room temperature was very warm. We tried to turn the heat down and off, but it was very warm all night. Hotel bar is has an amazing view with many cocktails choices and a short list of food options. The pool and locker rooms were bright, beautiful and spacious, but you must have a swim cap or purchase one for 120rmb.

Great views from many rooms but our had construction going on below. The Vue bar upstairs is lovely. The room was extremely hot and even after calling there was nothing they could do.

Good room for the price but not over the top fancy. Amenities on site are great. Location is good also. Breakfast hits. Rooftop lounge is a winner.
