Great hotel and location, maybe slightly outdated but we liked tropical style of the hotel. The hotel is oriented mainly for Spanish speaking people.

The excursions with the animals on the property need to be in better condition ESPECIALLY THE HORSES. Any time we asked a question to the staff they seemed to be confused or just being indifferent about situations. The beach needs to be a little more cleaned up. There is a lot of rocks and branches. While the food was very flavorful the presentation was not great a lot of flies/bees in the food. The rooms need to be taken care of a bit more some had the light or the tv not working at all and the bathroom were also dirty.

Las habitaciones no estaban tan limpias, me refiero a la bañera, no nos cambiaron los paños, tuvimos q llamar para pedir cambio de toallas. En el buffet, en dos ocasiones nos tocó mesa con mantel sucio y sin servilletas de tela. Creemos falta variedad en las carnes y los postres no estuvieron con buen sabor, demasiado comerciales. Por lo demás el área de piscinas y los show. Estuvieron muy bien.

Lo mejor del lugar es el servicio del personal, cada persona con la que nos cruzamos tuvo buena actitud y eran muy amables, la habitación es cómoda. Lo malo del lugar es que si se siente descuidado, la comida se siente repetitiva y eso que nuestra estadía fue corta, además no tiene sabor como comida sin alma. El restaurante japonés la verdad no se siente de especialidad.

La atención durante las comidas fue lenta o nula

The entertainment needs to improve. The beach area is not sand. It takes 3.5 hours to get to hotel from Liberia airport.

The resort was beautiful but it wasn’t welcoming or accommodating for international tourists. Everything was in there native language Spanish and no of the staff spoke English

We had good time gloria took us for lapas lapario tour which was good experience and we had to move our last night from barcelo tambor a barcelo san jose.. we got helped by staff name Juvenal ortiz roman an abigail from front office.. and it saved our flight from missing.. it was great experience..it was our 3rd stay in 3rd country with Bercelo hotels. Suggestions more options in vegetarian and other food options would be nice..

Tanto el desayuno, almuerzo y cena estaban. La bebidas de baja calidad. La clase de cócteles era muy pocos en variedad.

Food quality was not the best, rooms are outdated but they service them every day. I did enjoy my stay there with my family. People are great over there.
