All of it especially the staff

The room including the bathroom was very spacious and clean. Rooms had a good variety of coffee/tea plus bathroom amenities (lotion, shampoo, etc.). Breakfasts were filling and balanced but were lacking in animal protein. Overall the hotel and trails were very enjoyable. The only downsides: location (a bit further from town center) and restaurant was quite pricey (not sure if the food was worth the cost).

Wir hatten ein riesiges Zimmer und obwohl das nächste Hotelzimmer nicht weit weg war, hatte man das gefühl alleine zu sein. Beim Blick aus dem Fenster dachte man, man ist mitten im Dschungel. Das Essen war sehr lecker und man kann direkt vom Hotel aus einiges erleben. Wir haben einen nightwalk mitgemacht und der war sehr spannend.

Rooms were simple but spacious and very clean and comfortable beds and linens. Cute little patio. Included breakfast was gourmet and excellent. The dinner options were a little expensive and not many options for the kids but was gourmet and great for foodies. The restaurant itself had a fireplace which looked great but made the lodge quite smoky and our clothes and hair smelled quite strong afterwards. The trails were very nice. It’s off the beaten path so after dark around 5:30 there’s not much to do but rest or taxi to the nearest town. Very challenging roads.

The staff was amazing!! Could not do enough for you. The room was very nice and clean, the views from the property were beautiful. We did not know there was a little town not far til the day we left, that was disappointing. The road to the lodge was unpaved and unlit, it was good the dining room and menu had good variety cuz after dark we weren’t driving anywhere. I wish they had had a hot tub and spa, would have been a nice option.

This is a quiet and relaxing place to connect with nature. The resort is located in the Cloud Forest and offers several trails for hiking and a Canopy Zipline on property. The staff is extremely accommodating and the food is excellent.

The staff is wonderful. The food was great and the lodge is well maintained and clean. We loved it!

A paradise in the heart of the rainforest with the highest standards of service by every member of the staff. Having the best zipping service across the front desk, and the property trails are a natural wonder.

The staff are all so attentive. I wish i could remember everyone's name to give them a shoutout. The meals we had were outstanding. Nothing but good things about this property.

The property was beautiful and immaculately maintained. The dining experience was top-notch - the staff was incredibly welcoming and the food was the best we had throughout our entire Costa Rica trip.

A beautiful mountain setting surrounded by nature and hordes of hummingbirds. We saw a trop of 15-20 Coati on the ride in one evening and dozens of hummingbirds at breakfast every morning. The staff is gracious and friendly and always willing ti held with a reservation for a local excursion to the Coffee/Chocolate Plantations or the Adventure parks in the area. our visit was truly outstanding!

This is a beautiful property right next to hiking trails and immediately adjacent to Canopy tours. The views from the restaurant are spectacular and the service is exceptional

Spotted a coati outside our room and hummingbirds at breakfast were beautiful Lovely restaurant and dinner and breakfast were excellent with lots of choice Some lovely walking trails around the hotel Loved the village of Elena had some cute high end shops and a fantastic coffee shop and great gift shops Visited sloth sanctuary which was fantastic to see sloths close up

Great place to stay with family. We enjoyed our stay. Staff very nice and friendly and helpful.

It was a beautiful place . Felt like we were in the forest and that was the purpose. We loved our stay.

This was our favorite stay during our two week road trip to Costa Rica. The resort is a quick drive into town while still being removed enough to feel immersive and peaceful. We saw so many birds without even leaving the property and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and friends by the breakfast porch area. The food and drinks we had at the resort’s restaurant were fantastic and even as vegetarians we had a nice variety of options to choose from. The room was spacious and clean, and we also enjoyed walking the trails around the resort. This would be our top place to stay again if/when we return!
