The staff are all so attentive. I wish i could remember everyone's name to give them a shoutout. The meals we had were outstanding. Nothing but good things about this property.

The property was beautiful and immaculately maintained. The dining experience was top-notch - the staff was incredibly welcoming and the food was the best we had throughout our entire Costa Rica trip.

A beautiful mountain setting surrounded by nature and hordes of hummingbirds. We saw a trop of 15-20 Coati on the ride in one evening and dozens of hummingbirds at breakfast every morning. The staff is gracious and friendly and always willing ti held with a reservation for a local excursion to the Coffee/Chocolate Plantations or the Adventure parks in the area. our visit was truly outstanding!

This is a beautiful property right next to hiking trails and immediately adjacent to Canopy tours. The views from the restaurant are spectacular and the service is exceptional

Spotted a coati outside our room and hummingbirds at breakfast were beautiful Lovely restaurant and dinner and breakfast were excellent with lots of choice Some lovely walking trails around the hotel Loved the village of Elena had some cute high end shops and a fantastic coffee shop and great gift shops Visited sloth sanctuary which was fantastic to see sloths close up

It was a beautiful place . Felt like we were in the forest and that was the purpose. We loved our stay.

This was our favorite stay during our two week road trip to Costa Rica. The resort is a quick drive into town while still being removed enough to feel immersive and peaceful. We saw so many birds without even leaving the property and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and friends by the breakfast porch area. The food and drinks we had at the resort’s restaurant were fantastic and even as vegetarians we had a nice variety of options to choose from. The room was spacious and clean, and we also enjoyed walking the trails around the resort. This would be our top place to stay again if/when we return!

Absolutely loved the restaurant! Rooms are simple but large and clean. Staff was also very helpful in booking activities!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The infrastructure of the rooms was, unfortunately, quite old and in need of renovation, which initially left a poor impression. However, once inside, I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious and modern the rooms were. They offered a comfortable retreat despite the exterior concerns. On a brighter note, the hotel restaurant was a standout feature. It had a modern design and provided fantastic views, making each meal an enjoyable experience. The food was delicious and truly elevates the overall stay. In conclusion, while the room infrastructure needs improvement, the spacious and modern interiors, along with the excellent restaurant, made our visit enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel for its dining experience and room comfort, but I hope to see upgrades to the overall structure in the future.

Perfect place with fabulous food and bird watching. The staff is very friendly bith at the reception and the restaurant. I love this place

Rooms were clean and nice,but very expensive and transportation to the hotel is not easy,very inconvenient and staff was not friendly

Location up in the rain forest was beautiful. Really felt far removed from town, even though it really wasn’t that far. Staff is amazing; attentive and friendly. The view from the main lodge was so peaceful. Rooms are large albeit a little spartan but I do appreciate their eco practices. The food at the restaurant was the best we had while in Costa Rica.

We visited Cloud Forest Lodge early March and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel is just slightly off the beaten path, giving you the true rainforest feel. The property has trails to explore, animals can be spotted throughout the grounds. We were surprised to see no tv, but that was just lack of research on our part. Staff were always friendly and helpful with any inquiries we had. Would definitely consider staying there again on our next visit to Monteverde.

Amazing place to stay. I was in Costa Rica for a month and stayed several places, this one by far was the cleanest of them all. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms spacious and stunning. Wildlife all around, the views and the food are also wonderful. I would love to come back and was sad I only got to stay 2 nights here. would recommend to anyone. 5 stars all around.
