Everything about my stay has been fantastic! The hotel has old world charm and the staff have been superb! My every need has been taken care of.

Our flight was delayed so we did not arrive at the hotel until 4am. Staff were there to let us in and got us to our room quickly so we could get some much needed sleep. Everyone was very friendly, breakfast was great, shops are within easy walking distance.

Wonderful hotel located in the historic center of Cuenca. A short walk away from beautiful colonial cathedrals and churches, town squares, historic architecture and local restaurants. The hotel is beautifully preserved with modern facilities in each room. Excellent breakfast of fruit, eggs, and local produce served in an ornate dining room every morning.

Location is great, middle of old town transportation easy to catch to and from the airport.Excellent service, staff is amazing always attentive.

Great experience! Thanks to all the staff we had an amazing stay. Hotel is in the middle of old city and very accessible. Breakfast was great.

Excellent location in the heart of the vibrant historic Center. Room had a small fridge which we found useful. The breakfast was excellent- fresh fruit salad, eggs cooked any style, rolls and sliced bread, jam, butter coffee, cheese. Delicious and filling to start the day. A very nice lady greeted us with a smile and served breakfast. We ate a nice lunch when we arrived at a restaurant - same name is the hotel- ( a short walk). Try not to get the rooms closest to the front desk- as that area tends to be a bit noisier than the rooms in the courtyard area. There is a nice baker around the corner.

Wonderful hotel, staff and room in a great location to downtown. The only negative thing I would add, was the room was windowless and the refrigerator a bit noisy.

This property is definitely a 5 star. Staff is very pleasant and helpful, the hotel is outstanding, very comfortable room, quiet, clean and in an excellent location. I would highly recommend this hotel. I will be staying there again when I travel to Cuenca! Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our stay very pleasant!

The location of the hotel is a couple of blocks away from the central plaza. Still, the rooms are oriented toward the interior with a garden setting so that I did not hear traffic noise. Staff was exceptionally helpful !!! and kind. The breakfast salon has intriguing colonial and/or republican paintings and wall decorations.

Beautiful. Exceptional service. Great water pressure (not common for historic buildings in downtown Cuenca).

My brother and I stayed for 3 nights. The room is very clean, neat and plenty of immediate hot water. No need to wait so long for hot water to come down of the shower! The only thing is that we stayed the 1st night in a duplex room, it was a bit cold but they were nice enough to give us a heater. So be sure to ask for one. The nights get a bit cold. We extended our stay but switched to a lower level room with double Queen beds, 1. So I don't have to go up and down the stairs. It's a colonial building so there are no elevators. 2. There are no windows with natural sunlight. Some rooms, the window faces the corridor so you need to keep your blinds down for privacy. This makes it feel dark and without windows. Just the lamps and overhead light can be used. But overall it's a great stay. Would def. Recommend! Super clean, and safe to walk around, even at night!
