Such a poor hotel.

Will not recommend people staying here. Very disappointed! Even there is a fan in room which not able to help, too hot inside the room. Can't open the window since there are many bird droppings, hygiene is bad. There is ventilation fan inside the bathroom is failure, no recirculation so make the room getting more hot. PLEASE DONT STAY THERE if there is any other choices.

The room was spaceous, parquettfloor and a small fridge in the room which was a nice surprise. Clean and good water flow in the shower which is something hard to find in hotels in general. The hotel is old which of course shows in some ways but was not something I had any problems with. The complementary breakfast was fine and enough for me. I had a sandwich with jam, tra, orange juice, yoghurt and scrambled egg. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I was able to check in early which I was happy about regardless of the 25 pound fee for this. Good location on a shopping street close to shops, restaurants and foodstore. Overall happy about my stay, would book again if I’d return to Brighton.

Ok overall - building isn't soundproof so had to suffer noise of drunk people outside in the early morning waking me up. Room clean upon check-in, but cleaning chemicals used by housekeeping had very strong smell which made my throat hurt and caused me to sneeze a lot.

Its dark.no lights in the rooms made me feel sick the whole time

The staff and their response to a couple of issues I had were exceptional.

Room was very clean and stauff very friendly and speacial.the manager there very helpful.asking if i needed anything would stay again

Friendly staff, room was clean and the key cards didnt fail once which was great as in my experience its hit and miss.

Good hotel but just a bit noisy in the corridors during night so we all had limited sleep

Staff excellent , rooms and breakfast good. Just a little noisy during night with people walking up and down corridor and banging doors

The hotel is basic, which is fine, but my room and the corridor my room was on smelt absolutely horrific. The corridor smelt strongly of smoke, and instead of airing it out enough, it seems as though they had tried to use industrial cleaning fluid to cover the smell. My room also smelt strongly of cleaning fluid. I left the window open while I was out all day to try and air it out, but this did not work. When I went to reception to ask about changing a room there wasn't anyone there. When I informed the receptionist of the smell issue as I left, he told me that this was probably people in the evening breaking the rules and informed me they had a "domestic incident" that evening and assured me that next time they would get me a room on a quieter floor. I told him the problem wasn't the noise but the smell. I was not given an apology. The breakfast was fine, but no knives were available as they were 'in the dishwasher' so we ended up spreading butter with a spoon! Very disappointing considering the price. Would not recommend.

Clean, great value to be fair and friendly staff, with breakfast. Quiet and in a banging location... Good to check around as prices can differ...I got a fantastic price through Trivago And yes they do have a small percentage of people going through a tough time staying so if your not too snobby.. it's a winner for me , on a budget at the moment.

Room was okay, wish the lady at the reception desk would have been more friendly when check in.

Wonderful hotel. Excellent breakfast. Staff lovely and couldn’t do enough to help. Large room with tea and coffee supplied, clean too. Comfortable bed with mini fridge also. Thank you be seeing you soon.

Stayed for one night at Brighton location, The staff were welcoming, Room was very clean and perfectly set out. Breakfast had plenty of choices only the bacon was a bit tough but I was down for breakfast near the endbof service so could just be unfortunate.
