Very helpful owners and great location.

Fabulous property with very helpful staff. Ran the local Parkrun and missed breakfast time but was made some fantastic bacon sandwiches when we both returned to the guest house. Staff was very accommodating which made the visit very enjoyable.

Old-fashioned but not in a bad way. Clean and well decorated. Fantastic host. Would recommend.

Josie was very friendly and welcoming. Very attentive and couldnt do enough. We were offered a much needed hot drink on arrival which was brought to our room. Our room was very clean, more than enough tea, coffee etc, it even had dressing gowns. Little touches of Usb points on plugs and even a little chocolate each. We felt veey welcomed.

It was good value and excellent presentation Welcoming and caring service I would come back and would be happy to recommend it

Friendly but professional owner. Good communication. Exceptionally clean throughout all of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent- good quality food, cooked perfectly. Will definitely visit again.

Very disappointed on arrival to find the hotel not to be the one advertised. Hotel.com have used a false picture not supplied by the hotel. The Tudor style frontage, I think is Rufford Old Hall and not the red brick of a Southport Victorian large House divided into separate semi- detached properties. I'm sure this is against the 'trade Descriptions Act'. Staff very friendly and helpful and excellent breakfast. Bathroom had lingering drain smells though. Very helpful off road parking.

Great stay, lovely clean and spacious family suite. Bathroom was also spotlessly clean. Josie was a wonderful host. Very kind, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, great choice, good quality ingredients beats the chain hotel buffet breakfasts by a long way. Would highly recommend.

The owner lived at the property and you could really tell. There was a nice attention to detail that you dont get everywhere, and even offered a cuppa when we arrived like old friends.

Lovely stay in a well maintained traditional B&B with ample parking and great breakfast. Quiet location a short walk from the promenade and and town centre.

We visited Liverpool on one of the most expensive weeks of the year (due to Liverpool FC's parade and the May Bank Holiday music festivals), so chose to stay in Stockport, a few miles up the coast from Liverpool, where accommodation is far better value for money, and it's quieter. If you don't want to drive into Liverpool city centre, there's a very regular railway service (every 15 minutes) between the two towns, and parking at Stockport station is only £3.95 for 24 hours when using the NCP app. Josie offers a welcoming, pleasant, comfortable house with lovely rooms, comfortable beds, and delicious breakfasts with plenty of choice. Add a quiet location, onsite parking, WiFi and a friendly, knowledgeable hostess and you have a truly winning combination. We would certainly return to Edendale House if visiting Liverpool again.

Breakfast timing is limited 8 till 9.30, which is not practical for businesses travellers.

Price, service, welcome and hotel As A whole near perfect. Had very tip room and was very cold but it was freezing conditions so dont think could be helped. Highly recommend
