離巴士站有段距離，而且房間內沒有電熱水壺，無法自行燒開水，不太方便。

We are in Room 209. A lot machine are in front of our room. Very noisy. There are black marks on the beddings. We are unluckily that the room was out of electricity when we checked in. We need to run down to the reception telling them the problem. Although the duty manager tried her best to make calls to the technician, she said this was all she could do. She did not know when the technician could come. We went down three times and no one told us that we could call the reception by touching ‘0’ on the phone in the room. There is no instructions on contacting the reception. Also, there is no refrigerator in the room. It is so inconvenient if we would like to buy and keep cold drinks like yoghurt. Anyhow, we would like to thank the technician to make good the electricity within two hours after we report and we would like to thank the duty manager for her closely followed up. For the breakfast, although varieties are still good enough, the taste is not good - too salty for the sausage and the bacon.

Nice property on the University campus. Well maintain. Excellent breakfast choices in the hotel.

An eclectic stay; not a “boutique” hotel, needs a good Manager to guide the enthusiastic staff. Breakfast was interesting (not enough staff) but dinner and service in the restaurant was very good. Bar had no ice as machine was broken, but common sense would have bought some in from a supermarket! Having said that, safe parking and good location for our stay.

Good standard hotel room with spacious shower. It’s worth opting for breakfast as you get a good one with plenty of choice. The car parking is a little bit tight as some of it is on the edge of the driveway. As it’s joined to the university campus, I imagine it’s much more busy and possibly noisier in term time. We visited in the holidays and it was reasonably quiet although people walking on the path by our window could have been an issue ( you could opt for the floors above but the downside is there is no lift). I would still recommend this hotel as it’s in a good area to visit Sheffield.

This was our 2nd stay at Halifax Hall and it didn't disappoint. Check in was sorted quickly by the friendly staff who provided us with all the information needed for our stay. The room was very spacious and clean. There was ample wardrobe space with a safe and 2 dressing gowns. The bathroom (shower) was spacious and well supplied with soap, shower gell and shampoo. The excellent Breakfast was served in the restaurant. A very pleasant stay.we will definitely return.

This is a great value for money hotel. Great location for restaurants, bars a short walk away, Good breakfast!!

Great hotel as described. Went during summer break so quiet and parking readily available.

The hotel is really clean and the bed was very comfy. There are extra tea bags, biscuits & milk bags on every level which is a nice touch. The breakfast had several options, my breakfast wasn’t the best but my boyfriends was better. The car park gets very busy & it can be difficult to park. Would recommend.

Lovely stay at Halifax Hall Hotel in Sheffield. Staff were polite and welcoming, Breakdast was amazing and the rooms were clean and well equipped. The rates were very reasonable. We will definitely book at the Halifax again

We had 2 rooms one of which was accessible for an elderly relative. The accessible room on the ground floor was big enough for a wheelchair and had a huge wet room. The other room was a huge double with another large bathroom including spacious rain head shower cubicle. Both rooms were clean and beds comfortable. There was no air con but fans were provided. There were also plenty of sockets beside the beds for plugging devices. Both rooms had a coffee machine with pods and fresh milk available in a fridge in the corridor along with complimentary biscuits. Internet access was an issue briefly as even with 5G and signal it wouldn’t connect, nor would the WiFi, but helpful staff quickly resolved the problem. Good choices on the menu in restaurant and bar area. We ate in both and food was tasty. There was also a great choice at breakfast. All the staff at the hotel were lovely and very pleasant and helpful. The city centre isn’t far and was a cheap taxi ride away, easier than finding parking. Halifax Hall is within the grounds of Sheffield uni student accommodation but we stayed during the summer holidays and the area was quiet. I’m not sure if this would be the case during term times. Overall, the hotel was excellent value for money and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

A great option when looking to stay in central Sheffield

Executive suite was amazing. Complementary borders biscuits, tunnocks wafers and teas and nespresso coffees Unfortunately no air con in the room.

Lovely convenient hotel with free parking amd very close to Eccleshall Road! Only downside was lack of AC but fans were provided which were a bit noisy. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was generous

An enjoyable stay in a lovely building - unfortunately there is no air con in the bedrooms and we stayed during a warm period so it was too hot to sleep.
