Holiday Inn GLOUCESTER - CHELTENHAM, an IHG Hotel

Excellent weekend, staff very amenable. Very clean, food lovely.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Gloucester Holiday Inn. The staff at reception were extremely helpful in our first visit to Gloucester. The room was very clean and the bed super comfortable. Breakfast was very comprehensive and beautifully prepared, and the staff very helpful. Our stay was very good, and we fully appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff we encountered!

We had some very last minute emergency and were not able to go, so I contacted the property explaining the circumstances and asking them to be accommodative. The reservation was originally not refundable and I was not looking for money back, but just to move to a different date in the future given the circumstances. However, they were really inflexible and not willing to listen. They clearly prioritized short term profits over long term customer satisfaction. Such lack of empathy and customers understanding will not earn them my business again. Bad customer service and lack of business vision.

Over night stay everything good

Hotel was lovely and staff excellent. Room was very clean - just a problem with toilet flush in room 113. Stay had been booked for my wifes special birthday and was only marred by the constant yapping of a dog during breakfast and seeing a lady chop up a sausage and put it on a plate on the floor for her dog to eat. I was glad I was not staying another night as I would not have enjoyed my breakfast wondering if it was on the plate the dog had used the day before!

hotel room really great with air con being the game-changer. health suite pretty good but quite small - again the pool felt amazing when it was 32 degrees outside. will return.

Great Pool Area & Front Desk Staff super helpful. Did not like dogs in public places of hotel not under control of owner. Large dog lunged at my granddaughter & nearly scratched her. Do not allow.

Our experience at the hotel was fantastic. We were welcomed by Andrea at reception on the Friday who checked us in and gave us the information required. We went to the swimming pool in the evening and they gave you complimentary towels and to our surprise there was a sauna and steam room too, this was not listed on the hotel.com site so that was a bonus. Breakfast in the morning, we were always greeted by Josh who always accommodated our dietary need by bringing out veggie sausages, and we had a lovely time talking to him, always happy to see you. The hotel guests were polite and friendly and had plenty of conversations. I will be going back there, the staff were great and that made it an enjoyable stay. One thing i did notice was that the air con was not working in the room, it just blew out air, i forgot to mention it to reception.

Clean, spacious room. Comfortable bed and handy sofa. Thank you to Sarah at the swimming pool reception for being so friendly and helpful. Tasty breakfast. Did wonder why charged for parking though.

Very friendly and helpful check in. Moved to a room on the ground floor as travelling on a blue badge,no trouble at all. Room was large and comfortable,also clean . We travelled with our dog too and she was made to feel welcome ,unlike some hotels that claim to be dog friendly. Swimming pool was nice and welcome . Nice outside seating for a coffee
