GUILDFORD, an IHG Hotel

Very poor experience. I have travelling 3 or 4 times every year for the past 20 years. Except the staff in the front desk and health club showed me welcoming. The waitresses in the restuant made sounds and faces behind me during the buffer breakfast. The waitress even did not know I could order and pay online during dinner. Are they trying to embarass the asian faces? Also smelly and stain in the guest room, no refigerator and safe, what kind of experience could not expected.

It's quiet and Tesco is just 5 minutes walk.

今次有不愉快經歷，因為在酒店餐廳進食晚餐後，懷疑食物中毒上吐下瀉，反映後只要求填寫表格說明情況，沒有一點關懷問候。 We had a unpleasant experience in this hotel. We had been stayed for three nights and had two dinners. For the second dinner, one of the dishes was buffalo wings, which had a abnormal taste. And after that meal, my son had a severe diarrhoea and vomiting at that night. And he has been having diarrhoea for over a week. We have reported this possible food poisoning to the hotel, but unfortunately they have only given us a form to fill in this incident, and without any follow up or caring.

The location is rather remote and is good for vacation and relax. However, the choice of meal is limited and has not much variety.

酒店雖然徧舊，床褥及花灑設備尚算有質素。早餐不俗，泳池及健身中心設備亦算齊全。泊車方便，酒店位置亦很方便，開車出公路不到一分鐘，入市區亦只需十多分鐘。

可以說假日酒店是 Guildford最好的一間酒店， 員工態度細心、親切，早餐很棒, 下次一定會再入住

The room is comfortable but the housekeepers speak little English. The staff in the restaurant are very nice but not much choices in menu. I stayed in the hotel for 7 days with the same menu for dinner and same dishes for breakfast. A bit boring. There is no lift in the hotel, so don't carry heavy luggage.

主要是看重了他的位置，但是酒店房间设施实在是简单，我认为不值4星。早餐还可以。

酒店的整體很滿意，包括服務質數、整潔及設施。本人的房間是地庫一，到達及離開時均有服務生安排行李，入住期間的要求亦快捷及處理得宜。自行駕駛者可免除7-8分鐘的行程前往車站。

Dinner pretty awful

The Holiday Inn was really nice, staff were lovely and particularly the gentleman on reception very helpful as an issue when arrived (room 253)

Excellent location for the University of Surrey. Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and spacious. The only complaint is that there were no lifts to our room. However, a member of staff kindly helped us take our luggage down a flight of stairs.

Very accommodating staff. Great food. Did dinner and the breakfast buffet.

IT WAS TOTALLY CONVIENT FOR ROYAL SURREY HOSPITAL.

Check in was too complicated. Parking was too far from entrance.

Check-in was efficient and friendly. Reception area and corridors not particularly clean. Tired and dated but spacious and clean rooms/bathrooms. Little touches like robes, slippers and complimentary bottles of water and snacks are a nice touch. Expensive stay for the quality of the hotel and condition of the rooms and frustrating to have to pay extra for parking. Breakfast well priced.
