Dinner pretty awful

The Holiday Inn was really nice, staff were lovely and particularly the gentleman on reception very helpful as an issue when arrived (room 253)

Excellent location for the University of Surrey. Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and spacious. The only complaint is that there were no lifts to our room. However, a member of staff kindly helped us take our luggage down a flight of stairs.

Very accommodating staff. Great food. Did dinner and the breakfast buffet.

IT WAS TOTALLY CONVIENT FOR ROYAL SURREY HOSPITAL.

Check in was too complicated. Parking was too far from entrance.

Check-in was efficient and friendly. Reception area and corridors not particularly clean. Tired and dated but spacious and clean rooms/bathrooms. Little touches like robes, slippers and complimentary bottles of water and snacks are a nice touch. Expensive stay for the quality of the hotel and condition of the rooms and frustrating to have to pay extra for parking. Breakfast well priced.

Hotel staff very pleasant. Room was spacious and clean, Very disappointed at having to pay extra for parking.

property is great just the wrong side of town to central guildford

Great for a quick stay, however showers not suitable for people over 6’ or even 5’6”!

If Hotels.com advertise a rate that the Hotel don't agree with then their argument should be between the two of them not the customer (me) who bought it in good faith. Plus this Hotel has no lift to the upper floor and no suggestion of any assistance with luggage. Bed was good as was breakfast - parking is £8 with the threat of a £100 fine if you overstay

Room was very dated and tired , shower didn’t work properly the water just dripple out . The whole hotel was very old fashioned and scruffy

Feels like home especially the receptionists who were very helpful and accommodating - Camille and John, a huge shoutout to these two!

Good location, nice friendly atmosphere, comfortable beds and pillow's, good dinner and breakfast options. Only one negetive thing is no free parking for the guests. Otherwise very good.

We found it difficult to find the Hotel a lack of signs and the difficulty of finding on the sat nav melt we were 2hours later arriving after a journey around Guildford

Check in took a bit longer than expected as I paid on Hotels.com using clubcard vouchers as part of the payment. The receptionist didn't know how to action this and asked me to pay the full fee which I almost did, but then realised I'd paid using the clubcard points. A more senior member of staff heard our conversation and came over to assist, showing her what to do. Unfortunately when we checked out the next day we had the same original member of staff whom again asked us to pay the full amount. We then had to wait whilst the senior member of staff came to help and the same conversation as check in ensued. As well as this, the air conditioning in the room was broken and we believe they knew this as there was two fans in the room. These helped but unfortunately the room was still hot. The member of staff working in the bar area was not happy, we ordered a starbucks and he was pretty rude, didn't smile or make eye contact. Coffee was okay though.

Good location easy to find. Remember to book the parking at reception. Standard room but comfortable, aircon great during the really hot weather. Nice foyer and bar area.

I should have had a refund for my ladt day booked because I I had to lesve early due to afamily medical emergency.
