Breakfast was freshly cooked and good quality. Room was luxurious and comfortable. All staff friendly and helpful.

Service was superb , particularly the Door staff on the ground floor and the Night time reception staff.. room was lovely and the Festive decor beautiful and elegant. Will defo look to stay there again.

Lovely hotel. We were upgraded to the inner sanctum which was a gorgeous interior room with a projected image of Paris, NY or London to give the feeling of a window - ingenious and really effective. Bed was super comfy and I could have stayed in the shower all day. Breakfast was decent with lovely views over Manchester. Staff all very friendly and attentive.

This was my second stay at this hotel, my first was around a decade or so ago when the hotel was new and fresh. I stayed overnight with my boyfriend this time and must say the hotel is still as beautiful as it was when it first opened. We could not fault the staff, every single staff member was absolutely incredible and a real asset to the hotel, I can’t comment on the food as we did not stay for breakfast or have an evening meal but the style of the hotel doesn’t disappoint and I’m really looking forward to visiting their establishments in Newcastle and the up-and-coming one in Bristol. We stayed in room 208 and if there was anything to improve, I would say that there are a few minor bits of wear and tear that would need attention in the bathroom such as the expanding skirting boards from water hitting the wood, a few of the metal hooks and the in shower toiletry basket being quite loose. I’d also recommend having some slippers, maybe changing the robes as they were a little bit crunchy and having some branded towel towels like some other five star establishments. We didn’t have the turn down service on this occasion but it would have been nice to have had more teas, coffees and maybe some hot chocolates in the room as they weren’t many options to choose from. There was some building work happening, but this did not interfere with our stay, there was no noise and overall it was a comfortable and pleasant experience! Looking to bring my mum for a night away in the future!

This is our third stay here, it’s such a lovely hotel and we love that we can bring our dog with us. The staff are all super friendly!

Qe checked in at 10.45pm and the staff seemed annoyed. I then had a bad allergic reaction in the morning and needed some time to settle so chexked out at 12.20 amd was charged an extra £50.

Great massive luxurious bedroom. Great breakfast and cocktails on the rooftop bar. All the staff were also very friendly.

Excellent customer service. Room was large, clean, well-appointed. The hotel has a classy feel overall. Cooked breakfast was tasty with quality ingredients. Could have been a bit bigger, though.

The room was in good condition and the staff were great. Unfortunately the hotels heating was not very good. Our room the dinning room and bar were cold.

The whole experience

Have stayed at Gotham for many years, it remains a pleasant stay. General manager was on hand in the bar in the evening and greeted us which was lovely. Only downside is bed and pillows are like bricks so an uncomfortable night unfortunately.

Lovely room, very clean. Breakfast was very nice aside from the poached eggs not runny but a small issue. Staff were very friendly.
