很不錯的酒店，在湖區西部荒原之間的山麓中，這個可以追溯到14世紀的酒店，保留著傳統的木材框架，唯獨路程比較艱辛，一路的高地美景和大海天衣無縫的銜接，湖區一道非常靚麗的風景線

A really great hotel

Really liked Irton Hall. Lovely grounds with peacocks strutting around. Nice room, lovely food

Lovely, service was brilliant.

Irton Hall is a historic property in a quiet part of the Lake District but near to Eskdale, Wasdale and Ravenglass. They have kept the original buildings (no concrete hotel block behind) and the open lawn, across which a multitude of peacocks march around. The food in the bar was far better than normal bar food - my venison must have been stewed for hours, it was so dark, rich and tasty! Game pie was good too.

Beautiful building and property. Spacious rooms with decent wifi, fridge, fan and comfortable chairs and bed. Good restaurant in the building too. Enjoyed the critters in the yard: cats, peacocks, Guinea hens, chickens, geese, and scrunchy faced pigs. Would have loved to have stayed longer.

Very nice grounds and grand looking property. Rooms need updating. Couldnt see any view unless stood right by the small windows and then it was only the tops of nearby trees and the rubbish bins. Staff were very nice and breakfast was A1

Bar could have stayed open a little later...

Staff is top notch, very welcoming, receptive to guests needs. Nice little pub and restaurant, great historic feel to the property. Dining options 15 to 30 mins away. Second time staying here.

We love this place. Have been there 3 times with our dogs. Walking them is so easy there is a large green area just outside or a walkway around the estate, just what you need early morning and bedtime. The staff are great they are professional courteous and friendly. Emma the manageress is a joy and works really hard to make sure you enjoy your stay. The chef also needs a shout also, the meals are top class.

Great location, easy to find using SatNav, and attentive staff. The room was decent with a powerful shower and tea/coffee making, comfy bed, decent space with desk & chair. Whilst the carpets on the staircases seem a bit dated, otherwise it was a splendid stay with a cracking good breakfast! And love the peacocks strutting around the grounds!

Its a beautiful building in a lovely location. The fure alarm went off in the early hours and as there are no staff manning reception,guests were outside in the rain for 45mins. Whilst unusual, i accept, the response needs to be improved. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The spa bath didnt work, and the shower didnt get very warm. The bed though,was really really comfortable.

Great stay in a very well run hotel. Customer care was top notch and Tom made all guests welcome
